“We have been eating at Pat's for the past 15 years. It is one of the great pleasures of Black Pot Beach, Kauai. We usually get a couple of burrito's with a quesadilla. Excellent with a view of the best beach on Kauai Not sure why people keep marking Pat's as closed. It is not - we just ate there today. Remember Kauai is on island time. Sometimes surfing take priority. If he is not there try again the next day. It is well worth your patience.“

“Tropical Taco has memories for me and my kids. We lived on Kauai for 6 months when they were very young. I always got them the baby bean and cheese burritos. Back here now as adults, they loved them just as they had before. Located in the most quaint and my favorite town of Hanalei.“

“I work in princeville, but I live in Kapaa, so when I am too lazy to make dinner I'll come here for tacos. To be honest, this Paco's Tacos location is a lot better than the other ones on the island. They are fast with orders (I usually all ahead and they will be ready by the time I reach Kilauea). I get the al pastor tacos, beans, and rice. They taste great!“

“As a picky vegetarian, finding stuff I can eat is really a challenge, especially when traveling. This restaurant impressed me, though the food was decently priced (for Kauai), the portions were good, and the food was simple yet delicious. I got the veggie burrito two different days without onions, mushrooms, and pico, and both times, it was very good. I also got the cheese quesdilla, and that was very good as well.The cashier was very nice and even remembered me from yesterday! Also, the take out containers are compostable, which is better for the environment (so I don'thave to feel guilty for getting takeout when me and my husband can't agree on a place to eat). Plus, tonight, when I went there, I saw 3 geckos outside, so the vibes were great. It's officially gecko approved!“
