I had a horrible experience because of the waiter named Nathen. He was very rude and I will not be returning to this restaurant. He was also sick while working which is not safe in the food industry.

The place is great, but my last visit has left me speechless. Been a here and there visitor since 2018, let's just say first impressions was not the best but the food was great I kept coming back for more. Love there Pho's. My last visit was one of the worst experiences. First of all they gave us smaller portions of sprouts and basil, when we asked they said they were running low on stock and had to stretch the ingredients they have. BUT that's not why I have gave them a 3 stars... we found a cockroach in our bowl of soup... I have questioned the sanitation of the place first time I visit in 2018 but in my 6 years of visiting this was a first.Not sure if I would give them another chance.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Hilo!! Lams has an amazing menu and the vegetarian pho is phenomenal! The tofu egg rolls are also amazing, and try their homemade peanut sauce! I would choose to go to lams over every other restaurant, I have been going here for almost 5 years and the service is always wonderful!
