Arrived with a reservation at 18:00 when it opens. Reservations are recommended as the restaurant may be filled with customers lining up when you arrive. The whole store is lively, the customer service is efficient, and the atmosphere alone makes you feel like THE Japan. You can see some of the food being prepared from behind the counter, but it seems like each person is in charge of it, and each dish is beautiful in a good way, probably because the staff are working hard at it....read full review

Best sushi and izakaya in O’ahu! Visiting from NYC, I always discount the positive rating, but Bozu did not disappoint. Authentically Japanese establishment and chefs working at the restaurant. Highly recommend this restaurant for the food, sake, and experience. I will definitely eat here again on my next visit to O’ahu.

I had missed my reservation but I was lucky enough to still get seated. I highly recommend reservations because they do get pretty busy! Food was delicious. One of the best places to get sushi!
