It may sound a bit unusual to seek out a lobster roll at a bakery known for "chocolate" + "vanilla", but that's what I used to do. Cupcakes and macarons don't really catch my attention. But under the radar, petite, and reasonably priced, the lobster roll was a good impulse pickup on the way home. Sadly, owner Jill has moved on from that savory treat. When I'm in the mood for a small dessert or looking to gift something sweet to a friend, I'll come to Chocolate + Vanilla. They have a nice assortment of butter mochi, with rotating flavors. The ube and guava are both guaranteed to please all butter mochi enthusiasts. It's a bit pricey at $7.99 for four pieces, but they're packaged nicely and are great for gifting. I haven't tried her savory sandwiches yet, but they sure look good.
