We wanted oxtails and the place we were supposed to go was closed for the week. So we landed here. I got oxtails, my husband got jerk chicken. We also got the beef empanadas. The empanadas were everything yelp said they were. Crisp and delicious. The oxtails were pretty good, a little heavy on the salt, but well seasoned. We had the jerk chicken, empanadas (chicken & vegetarian) , & tostones. Very flavorful and delicious. Flavors dancing in my mouth!!! If I had more time on Oahu, I’d try more, so I’ll be back Familia de Lavarello!!!

Got the jerk chicken for $20 and it was delicious. Everything is seasoned to perfection. Took about 15 minutes for food to come out. Would reccomend if you're curious about Carribean style food.
