Went to the food truck today at Hickam AFB as I love Jerk chicken. I ordered the Chicken and Thigh plate but the spice burned my mouth out. I like spice but not something that makes my eyes water and nose run, which is what I experienced. Red beans and cabbage were great but I think they need to provide fair warning if the chicken is meant to be that spicy.Based on reviews I probably just got a bad batch or heavy handed chef. Really miss the Jerk Chicken at Jawaiian Irie Jerk that used to be in Kaimuki and the Jamaican Grill in Tumon Bay as they had the spice and heat balance I was expecting and prefer. Flavor was good but the heat today was too much.

Been supporting this business since it was a primary food truck. Always welcoming and good energy. Oxtail stew plate is my fav. However, the curry chicken I was given its not how it used to be. The allspice is now too over powering and I love spicy foods but I can't taste the chicken. Then I can't get through my plate without eating so many bones. There's more bone than the actual meat. It's kind of upsetting because I never cared for the price, I always got the best portioned plate. Now it's a repeated trend since theyve moved from downtown. I'm not getting anything for my penny anymore. Drinks are always good! But for my curry chicken lovers help us out. Stay blessed.

Located in The Heart of China Town in Honolulu, we stumbled across Irie Jerk, a Jamaican Restaurant. In about a month we must have visited at least five times. The Mash Potatoes are the best I’ve tasted anywhere, Finger licking Good. We also tried the Oxtail, Jerk Chicken, Curry Chicken and Curry Goat, all served with a choice of rice and peas ,cabbage, Mac and cheese, are all delicious. Not only is the food excellent, the owner Cadeen and the staff are pleasant and courteous. I look forward to my next visit. If you are in Honolulu, please stop by Irie Jerk, you won’t be disappointed.

I’ve gone to this restaurant over 5 times , so this review is LONG overdue. It’s so nice to not only enjoy some authentic Jamaican food, but the owner is such a joy as well. I’m in love with the oxtail over mash potatoes, curry goat with the rice and peas, the sorrel, and the beef patties. Really you can’t go wrong with anything, but those are my highlights. My family and I were visiting at least once a week going through different menu items, and the owner was able to give us recommendations on what to try next. She never disappointed and neither did the food.Overall I highly recommend !

Really enjoyed the Jerk chicken. Loved the flavor. Ordered pickup both times I went. Service was fairly quick. I parked on Bishop St and walked in. Seating is limited but the restaurant is nice, clean and homely. This is the type of AUTHENTIC food that you'd expect (or I'd expect) from a hole in the wall place. I'll definitely go back again. P.s. I liked the hibiscus drink too (I forgot the name).

Simply fantastic / my favorite food truck bar none. Takes me back to last years vacation in Jamaica with my fiancée at the time to a fresh love for many things in life finally. Jerk recipe is fresh and very much delicious. Can't go wrong. Traditional lunch hours a bit of a wait but well with it.

Oxtail Stew Plate was on a bed of dirty rice with beans and veggies on the side. Oxtail was so tender fall of the bones and loaded with flavor & a lil bit of spice! Definitely the best oxtail stew I've tried so far! Loved that the oxtails were still whole 'til you touched them! Service was on point, called in to pick up my order and when i arrived it was ready to go. Nice folks, it's located at the executive center on bishop by 7-11. Definitely good relaxing vibes with their shop!

Was walking by with coworkers and decided to try this place out. I got the mini chicken plate with rice and beans and the slaw. Flavors were awesome and will definitely be going back. The mini was the right portion for lunch but since it was so good I wished I had more.

Recently had the jerk chicken, incredibly tasty. This is coming from someone that grew up in the carribbean and in Brooklyn, that ate a lot of jerk chicken. This place is one of the top 3 spots for Jamaican Food. Hands down really good, I was actually amazed to find such an authentic spot on the island.

This is my first review and let me say this place was GOOD! Everything was so flavorful and she even let me try the chicken curry before buying it. Owner was super friendly and quick with service. The oxtail is unmatched! Everything was so good and the Mac and cheese is probably the best I ever had! The jerk wings were pretty good size and flavorful. Definitely will be back to try the beef patties and get the oxtail again! Super good place and the owner is so nice!
