What an absolutely fabulous restaurant. We had to wait 30 minutes to get in and were a bit anxious but that all went away pretty quickly as our waiter was professional and efficient. Food was quite fast to come out and was outstanding. My wife and I had salmon yaki 9.50, salmon belly 8.00, soft shell tempur 7.00, island tempura 13.00, wafu steak (amazing) 24.00, rice 2.50, plus wine and tea. Total bill 91.50 us. Can not recommend this place enough. Best best meal in Hawaii.

Disappointing. The effects of the Covid restrictions are showing. The prior Japanese efficiency and attention to detail are absent. Still OK but no longer as special as it was. Hopefully as they recover from the lock down more of the old charm will return.
