If you are visiting the big island, this is definitely a place to stop at and try. I got the pork tacos and chicken and rice and they were both the best food I have tried yet. The beer samples were good, especially the passion fruit one. I recommend trying this place at least once while you visit.

If you are looking for a reprieve from the heat and humidity walking around the terminal, I would suggest stepping into Kona Brewery. The best part here is the AC and ample seating. The views of the airport runway are nice. Staff here is friendly. Basic airport bar food. Nothing spectacular or worth noting. Be prepared to pay airport prices. Burger and two beers around $55. I'm was surprised they didn't have a flight of Kona beers available (being that this restaurant is named for the beer company). On my visit they only had one selection (Big Wave) on tap.Wheelchair accessibility: Ample seating and walkway big enough for wheelchair.

The service was great for dinner, some food was really good other okay. The pepperoni bread was a great starter, the wings were a little small but good. We had a couple of pizzas that were good but the Pua’a pork tacos were really watery due to the salsa, almost inedible. The pastrami sandwiches were just okay, not much pastrami and the pickles were really strong. Nice views on the patio.

I wanted to find a place that had local food and drink and this place was it! It was busy but we were still able to get sat right away. However whatever time we got sat there was a shift change or a section change because there was quite the confusion on which server had us as a table. It seemed as though neither server wanted us. Then the host came over and asked if we had been greeted and we said no. So it was about 15 minutes before someone came over to our table which was a bit disappointing. Since the restaurant and the server were so busy literally everything took a long time. We ordered beers and also a large pulled pork pizza to share and it was all good! Even the Ranch! Definitely recommend the pizza. Our server was friendly, but he was just so busy to be able to really serve us properly. Overall we enjoyed our meal here and glad we had the extra time to spend here and had nowhere to be since it was a little bit of a time suck. The atmosphere is nice and there is even an outdoor deck area overlooking some water. It would be cool to sit out there. Given the variety on the menu and the fact that we like brewery settings, we may be back.

Ordered a red Bull because I don't drink alcohol. Ate my Starbucks Sammy there. Was online typing, not bothering a soul. The sever seemed super annoyed I wasn't drinking alcohol. After 50 min there, she's straight up tells me, ss 8 empty chairs sat around me, that I had to order more or leave. She told me it was a "rule"So non aloha and desowratem she also told me to take my "trash", my Starbucks wrapped, as she made a point to NOT throw that away as she grabbed the red bull canThis petty miserable woman needs to do better. We all know where this " Rule came from. Never in my life thought I would be discriminated against because I don't want to be drunk.

We are visiting from CA but used to live in Hawaii Kai and boat over to Kona Brew so we wanted to visit it again. The hostess and waitress were friendly. My mai tai was pretty good the rum punch not so good the fish tacos also not great the sliders were ok. The views are still good but food is expensive and not our best meal back.
