My family wanted to go somewhere to relax and eat some good food. So we decided on Makana Lani's Sunday Brunch. The restaurant was bright, clean, and had a huge aquarium visible, which was relaxing to watch. The service was amazing and the food was excellent! We came for the dinner buffet. The food and services were outstanding! There's lots of aloha here! We are local residents and fully recommend Makana Lani to visitors and locals. We also recommend their weekend brunch. Enjoy!

It was a soft opening so it was discounted which made it a great value as the savory offerings were really good. The sweets however left something to be desired and it was clear they were still working out the bugs as there was no presentation involved (everything came out on one plate, there was no teapot, no butter and clotted cream for the scones) and they forgot the ice cream at the end.
