“Amazing food. Fish is so fresh. The bowls are dynamic and flavorful. After moving to Oahu, I became obsessed with poke and would go out of my way to eat it from different places. I found Aloha Cones one random day as I was looking for the nearest place. Since then I have not found a poke spot that I like more, and I did indeed keep looking. If you ask me, this is the best poke on the island. Two years and counting, Aloha Cones is still at the top of my list.“
“This small little place have some really good sandwiches and salad. I never got a chance to try their soup but I heard it's good. They also have açaí bowl and it's not bad. Just be careful around there looks a little sketchy and parking is kind of weird if I remember.“
“The best service and family. Small business with a big heart. Opel and Lio were very attentive to our family, while Aoy along with the rest of the staff prepared our meal. Great food, great atmosphere, wonderful people. Praying the family is doing well. Can't wait to visit again the next time in in Honolulu.“
“Very busy, otherwise 5 stars on atmosphere.I like their fried items more than I like their ramen, but that's probably due to my whiteness. Really good flavor in everything.Vegetarian options: Soy based meat and tofu options. There are more vegetarian options than not.Wheelchair accessibility: It is on the ground floor, so it should be easy to roll in“
“Food was great, the restaurant family was very friendly and patient with our picky 5 year old water. Grandma brought out a bunch of things for him to try, she was so kind and thoughtful. Also, come hungry or expect to bring home a lot of leftovers... The pork dishes we ordered came in very generous portions, I could only put away about half of my crispy pork belly before I hit my food wall.“
“We got a melon slushy it was so yummy. Round off 5 bucks a cup it was cold sweet and bright green ? my little ones enjoyed it maybe next time we will try the food ? out door seating and it was sunny and breezy that day so it was a nice little spot to stop ✔️“
“it is delicious! I don't know if it was because I ate poke with a lot of ingredients, but it was a truly colorful feast of flavors? And the ingredients were so fresh that it was a happy meal! It’s also great to eat alone! I thought tuna was a smelly fish, but this restaurant made me realize that what I had been eating was not real tuna.“
“It's not the best place to look at on the inside, there's no tables, only barstools. It is a small shop so that's understandable. The sandwiches were DELICIOUS. The girls at the counter were very nice. I found this place because of their Instagram post highlighting their sandwiches. I definitely will go back. Parking was kinda tight but it's in a strip type mall.“
“Had a, beyond, wonderful experience here with The Kanikapila Project and guests. Ukuleles being played by some of the best Ukulele musicians there are. Great food, great atmosphere, great food, and raised money for the Kapi’olani Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Who could ask for more? The Gods even blessed us at the end, with some light rain.“
“We were in between lunch and dinner and wanted to grab a quick bite instead of a full meal before we visited the museum. We ordered a cheese burger and a mezze plate to share among 3 of us. Both items exceeded our expectations, especially the cheese burger. It's very juicy and tasty with plenty of sides - among the best burgers we ever had. Price is also very reasonable considering the high quality of the food. The lady who served us is very nice and professional. We enjoyed the tasteful and pleasant ambience also. Highly recommend!“
“Woooow amazing restaurant!!! Really fast and kind servers! Their food was exquisite. My friend brought me here for a late Birthday dinner and I am hooked I love this place. They have 18% off pastas during their happy hour. We were looking at the menu and were debating what to get so we ended up getting 3 different pasta dishes to share. The mushroom risotto, bolognese, and the uni pasta. My favorite dish is the bolognese I love that the pasta was not over cooked or mushy. It was a perfect texture Al dente and the meat sauce was not over powering. I'm not a huge fan of uni but my friend was and that was her favorite dish.“
“Great food. A little on the pricey side but everything is more expensive now. Think of this place as the Whole Foods of plate lunches. Loco moco was delicious and the steak risotto was ono and they gave a lot of risotto. The fresh catch - Mahi was moist and flavorful. Service is ok - friendly but had to repeat the order a couple of times on the phone. Wish they had online ordering, plus they don't include what sides are available on the website. Limited parking and sitting area on the park benches. Basically a take out place. Highly recommended that you call in your order as there is usually a wait time.“
“Excellent, high quality plate lunches cooked to order. Check their Instagram for daily specials. The rib eye was well seasoned and flavorful. The shrimp tempura is some of the best I’ve had. Thai chicken was also unexpectedly good. Hamada is now my new go to spot for local plate lunches. Highly recommended.“
“My wife and I booked a reservation at Vein after viewing the photos and reading several reviews on Yelp. So, on Thursday, 4 April 2024, there we were. First, we want to salute the entire staff. We have never seen such a hard-working group. Our meal started with an Aperol Spritz and a Negroni 13, accompanied by Karaage artichoke hearts and grilled Tako. Both of these starters and the drinks were superb. Next, we ordered lamb and Pistachio pasta. The grilled lamb was the best we've ever had, anywhere on the planet. The bucatini pasta was perfectly al-dente, covered in a house sauce of puree and pistou pistachio nuts, Parmigiano Reggiano, and Prosciutto di Parma. This unusual creation was a first for us, and it was exceptional. Finally, we shared Creme Brulee and their fabulous Bread Pudding with a scoop of vanilla ice cream! Whew! This place is welcoming and comfortable. We never felt rushed. The Head Chef, Mr. Jordan Harris, was most gracious, taking the time to chat with us. He even added a special gift to our go bag! We will most definitely return! Five stars!“
“It is a clean, small family owned Chinese restaurant. I Have been going to this restaurant for years. Love their Dan Dan Noodles. I always eat in and take out extra dishes home. They have recently expanded their menu. I Highly recommend this restaurant.“
“Went in thinking I would get the Bun Rieu (crab soup) which I loved last time but for some reason I decided I wanted beef instead and went with pho suon Bo (beef rib soup) and was glad I did when the waiter owner said it's their #1 dish. The broth was both tasty and clean and the beef was very tender and came easily off the bone. Aunty and brother got the crab soup at my recommendation and were very pleased. They use real king crab that comes in leg and meatball form with shrimp, tofu, pork and vermicelli noodles. Mom got the spring roll bun vermicelli and wished it had more veges. We also got the chicken liver spread pate. If came with a cute baguette that was crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. The food here is great and we loved the beautiful enlarged photos of Vietnam decorating the walls but service was a bit brusque. Perhaps it's because it's like a 2 person operation and they're understaffed. I'm assuming someone was in the back cooking and that it wasn't the waiter cashier when he was running in the back. There seemed to be a steady flow of customers coming for take out.“
“The staff are friendly and welcoming, I am happy with the food. They have really big portions and don't stop until the plate is full, highly recommended! I think it's worth the money you'll pay as far as parts. I go at least once a week because I'm close to work. The staff is friendly and welcoming, I enjoy the food. “Stopped by for the first time. The lobster rolls were delish. The portions were really generous and filing. It's mostly a take out since the seating is limited. I would call ahead and order or check to see what the specials are. Parking is located on the street. Will come back again sometime.“
“Today I ordered the tofu salad with sesame dressing. I was totally impressed. There was not one wilted vegetable in that salad. Amazing! The dressing was great. I will go back there again. The gentleman working was so polite and had a great personality. Thank you for such a perfect salad. Good job!..Charlene NobrigaVegetarian options: The most important thing is the freshness and good quality of the vegetables. I couldn’t find one wilted vegetable. To me that’s impressive.“
“Love the food. Vegan friendly. Unique variety of sides. Fresh made. This visit we were there around lunchtime. Staff is great, but only bar seating for our party, and hadn't been cleaned since the previous people, had to wait 45 minutes for our food, and they were out of several menu items. Luckily we weren't in a hurry and the food was worth the wait.“
“I've been to Hawaii twice, and I've eaten here 11 times. It's the best udon I've ever had. The portions are well sized and there are several options and sides. The staff is incredibly hospitable. The price is fair for the quality and amount of food. I will be coming back every time I visit this beautiful island.Parking: Paid parking is around the area, but not directly where the restaurant isWheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible, it's on the ground floor“
