Got the party pack for a gathering recently, and it absolutely did not disappoint. For the amount & quality of food you get for about $130 cash... they usually take pre-orders a day in advance but I was able to order, and pick up the same day.

hadn't been to Mistuken in a while and had to swing by to try it after hearing such negative reviews about their breakfast. Specifically the fried rice. It was delicious! Had choke meat vegetables inside, flavor was spot on with the extra drippings from the chicken. For the price, you literally have two meals in one so it's totally worth it. Parking is plentiful and the staff is very friendly. Definitely give this place a shot!

I no longer live on the islands, but man, everytime I go back home to visit, part of me thanks my lucky stars that I don't live in Hawaii full time anymore. Why? Because my kryptonite is local food. Plate lunches. I'd be here 3x a week at least. No bueno for my health.Garlic chicken bento. That's where it's at. Some famous garlic chicken, fried rice, spam, teri beef, and a little weiner. An absolute salt bomb but 100% worth it. So so good. The chicken hits you with that garlic flavor you've never tated before (if you're not from Hawaii). It's just that good, and I've never had anything as good before. Sugoi comes close, but I digress.Glad they moved to this location. The old one looked shady and crap parking. No where to dine, so it's exclusive take out.10/10 would defintely recommend!

The first time I had their breakfast combo, it was so delicious. Unfortunately, with my schedule, I have been unable to make it back to try their other foods. I got in at 12:30 PM, close to their closing, so it was expected not to have too much left to choose from. So I decided to try to shoyu chicken. I also got a vegetable tempura. The tempura was delicious, even without any tempura sauce. However, I was so disappointed in the chicken. It is nice that it is a chicken thigh and they deboned it, but, it was very dry, and there was just no taste. Not even the soy sauce on the rice had flavor, I don't understand, why it was so tasteless. Only the macaroni salad had flavor and I'm sorry, but that Mac salad does not have a good flavor to it. As far as rating, I really want to put one star Because this shoyu chicken plate was a little over $14 and I feel like it's a waste of money, no taste and I can't even enjoy to finish it. I'll put 3 star because there was no line, they were nice and I do want to try something else on the menu. Hopefully next time I will have a better food experience.

There is only one line to stand in (whether you are picking up or ordering), so just be patient.Staff is very nice there. You'll get a small discount if you pay cash versus using credit card.

I normally go here for breakfast but I love getting their bentos or items from the okazuya for lunch.While I think the service is quick, there can sometimes be a line. If you want to minimize your wait, call in your order in advance.

Takeout order.My order: Small Okazuya. 3 ea. 3 piece fried garlic chicken on Fried Rice. / 3 ea. 3 piece fried garlic chicken on Fried Saimin Noodles/ 6 pieces of spam Musubi. Ordered via phone, when I arrived in 20 minutes order was ready to go.I've been a looooong time fan of Mitsu-ken, since their School Street days... I wonder, are they under new Management or Ownership, the friendliness, efficiency, and customer service is now totally awesome. Shari... despite the long line of customers that suddenly showed up, without even blinking an eye, help carry my order to my car.The food was delish/tasty and well prepared and packaged.... I rate this garlic fried chicken Hawaii's BEST...ichiban... No. 1.Let's eat ... itadaki-masu ... Mangan tayon ... Please support these disappearing businesses.... Been here multiple times and each time the garlic chicken is very tasty :) large portions at a reasonable price.Beef curry is good too but definitely recommend the garlic chix instead

Great food. The staff is always friendly. My only complaint would be the hours of operations, but I get it with mom and pops it's a challenge.
