Came here for the first time and fell in love with their high grade fresh and fatty premium poke. Each bite melted in your mouth and left me wanting more! We compared it to another popular poke place in the area and I must say, this is my new go to! The girls behind the counter were very sweet and patient and willing to answer any questions. Food was ready in about 15-20 minutes! Highly recommend, try out The Hawaiian salt hamachi for sure!
Someone local tipped me to try Morning Catch poke in Honolulu Chinatown, and I'm beyond glad I listened. Nestled in the back corner of the wet market, right across from a fresh Sashimi grade fishmonger, Morning Catch is a gem of a find. Surprisingly, the market itself is clean and dry, not what I expected. Finding Morning Catch took a minute, but it was worth it. When I tell you this is one of the best poke bowls I have ever had on the island... geez the fish tasted so fresh and so soooft. I usually prefer ahi when getting any poke but wanted to try the king salmon and it's 1.50 extra but so worth It! They have many toppings that are included but some that are extra such as the crab salad & seaweed salad (which I got).
