Nanzan Giro Giro is one of the four GIRO GIRO restaurants that offer an interesting chef's menu experience, whether you call it Kaiseki or Omakase. The food is consistently top-notch, with highly recommended dishes like the black cod with foie gras sauce rice, zucchini, and wasabi, as well as the sawara Japanese ono with kabocha sauce, eggplant, and tosazu vinegar jelly. The 6-course Kaiseki menu at $88 provides a delightful progression of flavors, from the starter dish to the rice and soup finale. While the bathrooms need some improvements, the overall dining experience is excellent, with attentive service and a monthly menu that changes based on seasonal Japanese ingredients.
