Old market, with classical vibe. Went four times to get mountains apples from the corner vendor operated by and older gentleman. Meat market, fruits, and drinks. Great place to visit
We frequent this area monthly. Honestly, it wouldn't be my first choice just because of the dingy-ness of the surroundings and sometimes the smell (wouldn't be too bad if it were only coming from the butchers and fish markets, but it ain't always the case). Our favorite market in China town because it's everything we need in one place: meat, fish, produce, and some groceries. I think there's honestly fresher fish across the street and cheaper produce around the corner, but it's great coming here for the poke bowls and getting all our shopping done in one place.
