I normally avoid any restaurant in chinatown at night because parking and safety issues. We were brought here on a dinner date with our cool vietnamese friends. Located in chinatown so you either gotta find street parking or park in the structure across the Chinese Cultural Plaza $5 all night. Planned to spend Saturday afternoon in Chinatown, and family suggested their fav go-to lunch spot - Pho Vietnam. Got there at 12noon and place was full with few waiting outside. Inside was a lot more bigger than expected... tables/seats were spaced out comfortably. Ordered Spring Rolls, Vietnamese Crepe platter, braised shortribs, and eggplant. I came in tired and in need of some comfort food. I was greeted happily and sat with my friend in the corner taking in the open space and soothing ambience. The rare steak and meatball pho had me warm and satisfied until the next day and I shared the big bowl with my friend. We ordered extra protein and had to take the rolls home for later. I will be making this my usual spot when I'm on island. 10/10 would recommend
