Prices are definitely not Chinatown prices but the taste is. I did enjoy the hot stone pot pho but my personal favorite is the fried pho. You'll like it, I promise.

I came in tired and in need of some comfort food. I was greeted happily and sat with my friend in the corner taking in the open space and soothing ambience. The rare steak and meatball pho had me warm and satisfied until the next day and I shared the big bowl with my friend. We ordered extra protein and had to take the rolls home for later. I will be making this my usual spot when I'm on island. 10/10 would recommend

I normally avoid any restaurant in chinatown at night because parking and safety issues. We were brought here on a dinner date with our cool vietnamese friends. Located in chinatown so you either gotta find street parking or park in the structure across the Chinese Cultural Plaza $5 all night. Pho Vietnam was packed and there were several people waiting for tables. Inside is airconditioned and if I had to guess restaurant probably holds around 100 people. The menu is your typical Vietnamese fare pho..rice dishes..entries etc... The best part was if you order your pho with stone bowl (cost a few dollars more) you get your meat and noodles seperate and you put everthing in the soup on your own and it stays hot throughout...this was the pho place to be at becayse we passed another pho place close by and it was literally empty but this place was packed!! You know its good when its packed with asians!

Service is horrible. I checked at the counter if there was any table available for two people, I was told I could share with someone but we wanted a table for us. I asked if I can just wait and she said yeah. There were people waiting prior so we both waited outside. Then we notice a family went in and asked in their language. The people who was ahead of us finally got there table but they gave the next table to the family, even though we've been waiting long. A customer saw us and made a notice to the workers, and told us she just had to say something which we were thankful for. Finally a table was about to be cleared then out of nowhere a huge family cuts in even though they saw us and stood right next to the table while a worker was cleaning it. After, they sat, my husband lost it cause the other worker who was notified by a customer only stared at us the whole time it was happening. We left and took our business elsewhere. Found a better restaurant that actually had a system on who gets the table first and so forth.

They have the absolute best Pad Thai I've ever had- I make it a point to visit every time I'm in Honolulu!

Planned to spend Saturday afternoon in Chinatown, and family suggested their fav go-to lunch spot - Pho Vietnam. Got there at 12noon and place was full with few waiting outside. Inside was a lot more bigger than expected... tables/seats were spaced out comfortably. Ordered Spring Rolls, Vietnamese Crepe platter, braised shortribs, and eggplant. We enjoyed everything and emptied all plates. I was so impressed with the huge menu... so many other dishes to try. Will definitely be back. Affordable underground parking... after 4hrs in Chinatown, only paid $3.

Food is always good The service is friendly The vibe of the restaurant is normal. Sometimes when I call over the phone they get my order wrong but I think it maybe the language barrier . either way everything on the menu is good so I don't complain

I've ordered delivery from here a few times and was always very happy with what I received but this was my first time dining in!! The restaurant is very clean and very nicely decorated! Our server was super attentive and took our order promptly. Our food was SO good and everything came out in a timely manner and correctly. The portion sizes are so worth it for the price too. They're pretty big! Keep in mind it is in Chinatown so parking is a little difficult but not impossible and so worth it for this food. My only complaint is how COLD it is. They had fans and AC, thank goodness the fans weren't on because it was COLD in there!! We ate and immediately needed to leave because we were pretty chilly in there. Bring a sweater or a jacket when you come because the food is worth it but it is quite cold.

Thankful that this restaurant opens early and closes late. It can get busy so be patient to get a table, or take out. The pho is delicious and quite frankly, it's the only thing I eat here. Service is decent. I haven't had bad service which is saying a lot.

Stepping into Pho Vietnam in Chinatown feels like hitting the culinary jackpot on a game show called "Pho-nomenal Pho Quest." I was tipped off by an online oracle claiming this spot holds the title for the best Pho on Oahu. Skeptical but intrigued, I embarked on this gastronomic adventure, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. Imagine diving into a bowl of Pho so flavorful, you'd think the broth was concocted by ancient Vietnamese wizards. The steam rising from the bowl whispered secrets of spices and tender love. The Vermicelli Noodles and grilled pork weren't just dishes; they were a harmonious symphony conducted by a culinary maestro. The noodles? Softer than a whisper in a library. The grilled pork? It had me humming in appreciation with every bite. Now, let's talk about the ambiance. Cleanliness? Check. It's as if Mr. Clean himself takes a daily stroll through the premises. Service? More attentive than a helicopter parent. And the Nước Chấm? Crafted with such finesse, it could easily be considered a liquid treasure. But here's the kicker - the price. In a world where your wallet often takes a beating for a meal out, Pho Vietnam stands as a beacon of hope. With dishes around $15 that leave both your belly and wallet full, it's like finding an edible pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. In conclusion, if you're roaming the streets of Chinatown, hunting for a meal that will tantalize your taste buds without emptying your pockets, Pho Vietnam is your culinary oasis. Highly recommended? More like mandatory for any self-respecting food lover on Oahu.
