This is the first time i've been back to Shokudo in maybe 5 years. I remember it being a top spot to dine at with friends but over the years more and more restaurants came by and replaced it. They moved into the old Pietro's spot right next to their old spot. Parking is free in the back lot and you just have to enter your license plate # to register. I would give this place 2 stars, if not for the female server who worked so hard tonight. She gets the star for effort. 1) The host seated us in one of those old red upholstery that was so cracked it hurt to sit on. I demanded another table 2) The service is SLOW. There were only 2 servers for the whole place- it appears they schedule their staff based on reservations. Amazing food, I got the Dynamite roll and Spicy Tuna, they were both great. The location is nice and food is fairly priced. Our server was incredibly nice and helped ur around the menu, overall 4/5.
