Fire local spot first stop off the plan from San Diego, the lady's behind the counter were super most definitely a place you should try if you want some local.

Great take out Korean food. For me, the BBQ Chicken is super tasty. Didn't know BbQ Chicken could taste so different from restaurant to restaurant. Also, the Saimin is so delicious! It comes with Bulgogi in it so the broth becomes this tasty aromatic soup!

It doesn't look like much but Soon's makes the best Kalbi ribs that I have ever had! Staff is always pleasant and friendly.

I like to come here for lunch, my favorite is the mandoo combo with 3 pieces mandoo and BBq chicken w bean sprouts, cabbage, kim chee and rice for $13.75. The bean sprouts tasted off today, while it was still fresh and firm, it tasted almost like there was dishwashing soap or a soap taste in the bean sprouts, or it went stale w this odd taste. To be safe, i didn't eat it, Everything else was fantastic. The service is quick so the wait isn't long and I like to come here for a quick lunch break. They have a couple of tables to sit outside but i always get mine to go, I'm gonna say this was an off day w the stale tasting bean sprouts and try it again next time i'm in the area.

Soons has the absolute WORST meat jun I ever had. Thin, stiff, and gummy. The batter is like a 'flour glue'. I don't know how else to describe how terrible it was. I can't even believe how it makes it to the plate. That's how bad it was. A bento sitting under a warmer at a convenience store all day is probably better than that. My meat jun came in the soon's bento. The bbq beef is the best part of the bento and the fried chicken piece is just ok. It also came with a side of veggies that tasted kinda sour. Meh.

Great tasting food and fast to go service. Kimchi Is really good with that spicy kick that makes your tongue want to sing! Location is easy to miss if you drive into Safeway parking lot instead of going to the far end by Ala Liliko'l Street. There are gigantic trees across from their outdoor picnic table bench seating that make your outdoor experience a bit more relaxing. Tip: CASH ONLY! ATM located outside of shopping complex and a BOH ATM inside Safeway Store. Great food in the $11-$22.00 range. Definitely putting a bookmark in my Yelp App under Korean Food!

Saimin was good, especially the beef. Didn't care for the noodles though, it has a Ramen noodle taste to it. I prefer Marukame Udon noodles instead. Man doo was good, even after several hours, when I ate it at the airport. Fast, quick service as there's nobody there. There's a few booth benches outside.

A must visit when you're on Oahu! All the faves! It's a walk up window, and you can take all of your delicious goodies to go. The family pack is the way to go... sample everything!!!

Ordered 3 plates. We were the only ones in line. The food came out in less than 3 minutes. Kal-bi teriyaki meat all cold. I order from pearls Korean bbq all the time and my kal-bi is never cold. Never going back there again.

The first thing I do when I land in Hawaii is go to Soon’s, no matter where my hotel is at. It’s a delicious meal, consistent in quality and taste, at a good price.
