The food is great. Sashimi tastes very fresh, the cold tofu is really tender fluffy, grilled salmon is impeccable. Of course, service is excellent. Unfortunately didn't have chance to take photos, which means I need to visit again.?
It's a bit overrated in my opinion. You're mostly paying for the brand. Personally, when it comes to sushi quality, there are better Japanese restaurants in Honolulu. The waiting staff were really nice and professional. The Hibachi chef seemed a bit pessimistic. If you're looking for a fun interaction with the hibachi chef, you might not find it here. Celebrated my birthday here. I loved the washoku courses! Very attentive, and they ask if you have any food allergies before hand. I would love to come back for the teppan courses!! Definitely an awesome place to celebrate special occasions. Fish was so fresh and the scallops tasted sweet.
