Located at The Modern Honolulu hotel, this pool bar offers meals that are average in taste but come at a higher price. But you can enjoy watching the sunset and experience a cozy atmosphere. The poolside at night is also highly recommended.

This place is soooo good and has a cool vibe at night! Not sure why the ratings are so low on google. I had a great experience here and ate here 3 nights out of our stay. Super cool vibe and all 4 items I tried on the menu were really good! Definitely recommend!

Sooo many better places to spend the same money. Don’t spend it here. Starbucks coffee, not Kona. No local fresh fruit - just the same strawberries and melon you’d get in a gas station mini mart on the mainland. All beverages are canned including fruit juice. Good service though, you don’t mind standing in line to order.

Depends upon your appetite ... I am a Senior and was trying to save from wasting food by ordering off off the Children's menus since they have no Senior menu. They would not allow it, so food wasted ... so disappointed! BTW I am a Hilton Diamond Member and have been for 25 years ...

The Grove Burger with the garlic parmesan fries was nothing short of amazing.

I've stayed in Hilton's around the world, austria, germany, Iceland and all over the country, this was the worst. 19 dollars for 2 eggs, meat and hash browns I can understand, the view is fantastic, but no service at all. No water brought, want other juice, tough go to the counter and order it, not even salt and pepper on the table- you do it all yourself! No wait staff at all. Suggestion, walk a block for a real restaurant.

Got seated and waited for about 15 minutes before someone dropped off a menu and water. Said my server would be there in a bit to take my order. Funny thing was that the person who dropped off my menu was the server. Never came back so I finished my water and left. I can understand if the place was busy but there was only a few tables. I left and don't plan on coming back.

Very nice restaurant and great food. We took a client here for a lunch and it was the perfect setting. And price! Only downfall - they were severely understaffed. It seemed like 1 waitress for 15+ tables. Poor planning on their part, there’s a conference in town and several thousand people in the area. The waitress did a great job, we felt really bad for her.

Happy hour was way better than breakfast. The employees are all very nice, the tables are well-shaded and covered in case of rain (it did rain during happy hour), and we should've ordered 3 of the bao tacos! Breakfast was indoor, very clean, but the food was just okay.

BEST Carbonara pasta I’ve ever had! Took all my friends and family to try it only to find out it was taken off the menu and replaced with a mediocre pasta dish. No reason to go back until it’s back on the menu. The pastas gone and so am I.

Stayed at The Modern for the first time since it became a Hilton Vacation Club. The atmosphere of the hotel, which used to be edgy, has changed a lot. Probably because it's Thanksgiving week, there are a lot of families with small children! Order food from The Grove for poolside lunch. The Shredded pork tacos and Truffle Fries are enough for 3 people and very tasty. Very satisfied! The waiting time was about 10 minutes. For breakfast, the three of us shared waffles and omelets inside the restaurant. It wasn't bad either.I like the location and size of this hotel ♡Parking is convenient and water pressure is good.

Good drinks and pretty good food. We tried their burger, fries, chips & salsa, and ahi poke nachos. Poke was super fresh and delicious. Burger was pretty standard, chips and salsa was basic/okay. Drinks are good though! Try their slushy!!! We also came here for breakfast. Not too many options. Pretty average. Service is good. At the restaurant, it's order first then sit down. The bartenders are super friendly and attentive. Chill vibes all around in November! Pool area can get crowded with kids, but I don't mind.
