Lunch in Kaimuki, Honolulu, Hawaii... My friend, Marlina from New Jersey, remembered going to Zippy's when she attended the University of Hawaii with me back in the day. I knew she wanted to go to any Zippy's location, and this one (on the corner of Waialae Avenue and 7th Avenue) was convenient. Haha I failed so bad. I was supposed to meet up with my nephew here at Zippy's. I decided to walk here cause it's only a couple miles away from where I'm staying at. I get to the spot and he's nowhere to be found. He calls me up and asks where I'm at. I say I'm here already. He asks me if there's a church across the street and I say yup! Womp Womp! We normally go to Kapahulu Zippys but on this particular saturday evening after 9pm it was packed with tourist, 6 of them in front of us and they were not familiar with the menu, one cashier in training...and one hungry customer that could not wait for 6 tourist to order.
