“Wow! The food at Balai Pata is spectacular! We also felt like it was a really cool designed restaurant with great vibes. Loved the garlicky malungay noodles. Lumpia was delicious. The bao buns were so soft and flavorful, the pork belly was incredibly tender. Someone in our party had the ramen and said it was very good. We also had a couple of specials — if the whole fried fish is available, definitely get it! We were blown away with the food here.

“Fabulous lunch - we go every year and this year's theme was Asian. All courses were creative and delicious. Loved the Kona Kanpachi and sauce as well as the Galbi Jjim. Wonderful dessert and staff of students were knowledgeable and friendly. Our server Emma was nice and Peyton gave us so much information on the dishes - and had a great smile! Great to catch up with Mark again too and Head Chef Peter Pak came by to be sure all was o.k. for us - how could it not be??!! Wish we could be there next week for the Italian theme but we'll be back next year. Sorry entree photos I took wouldn't upload to Open Table.”

Food and selection were great, quick, and supported with friendly service. It was bust but didn't take too long to get to our table of nine. Not going into details about the plethora of items we ordered but suffice to say everything was onolicious! Again, the friendly service ( may have been the manager) helped top off the evening. If you are here on a budget, turn down your gourmet food appetite expectations. Where can you eat all you want for $17 for breakfast and dine prime rib and Chinese cuisine under $40? Nowhere. “Thankful I got a chance to try Anohui today just before flying out! Turned out to be my favorite meal of my vacation in Maui. Lots of covered seating in the food truck area. Fast and friendly service. Ordered the following: - Hawaiian Tropic smoothie: delicious and flavorful! - The Chipa Waffle: really unique and tasty dish; surprisingly filling despite somewhat small portion; really yummy creamy cashew cream - Veggie Focaccia Sandwich: quite possibly the best vegan panini I’ve had (tasted similar to a vegan version of a caprese sandwich); same delicious cashew cream; very substantial in terms of portion size Wish I discovered this vegan truck earlier in my trip because I would have definitely come back!”

“My wife and I were walking to Cupies to try their food for the first time. We saw some food trucks near by and thought we would take a look see. We decided to try Da-Soriano Grindz instead of Cupies. I built my own grinds plate(hope I used the proper grammatical structure?). I chose the Chinese marinated pork belly and shrimp with salad and noodles. THE BOMB YO! BROK DA MOUT! My wife and I shared it and we were both stuffed. The location is quiet, super clean, lots of shady benches(not shady as in Slim Shady-LOL) and the small customer-only restroom was spotless. There are not many food trucks here and we did not try the others, so I cannot help you there. Kudos though to all the truck owners(they refer to themselves as “tenants”) for they all pitch in to keep this space invitingly attractive.”

“This is a food truck that is located on the Target side of the Lowe's parking lot.
Aunty at the window was pleasant and friendly, food was ready quicker than expected. Truck plays Hawaiian reggae music. You're given a ticket with your order number on it and it is announced by Aunty when you're a food is ready.
Had the ribeye and garlic ahi katsu combo plate, $21. The ahi katsu is not a traditional katsu with panko breading. It's a bit hard fried crust and fish is fully cooked with a garlic mayo and a garlic reduction poured over it. I prefer the seared foodiecocket ahikatsu I've had elsewhere. No seasoning on the actual fish or in the coating, only in the sauce and the garlic reduction. The ribeye is chopped up into small pieces with I would say a good amount of fat left on that keeps the rest of the cut flavorful. Nice amount of seasoning that could have been better dispersed but that's just personal preference. The layer of rice under the ahi and the ribeye is there just to catch the juices so it doesn't all soak through the recyclable plate but still very good and yummy. Salad is just young greens mix with dressing and a scoop of rice.

“This place is decievingly large, I wasn't expecting such a large natural foods market. The aisles are stacked with tons of vegan products that are difficult to find elsewhere. It was a lot of fun perusing the aisles. Prices weren't outrageous as one would expect from a natural grocer. They have a hot food bar with so many fun options that I wish we could have tried them all. All decently priced. I loved seeing all the vegan spam musubi and we grabbed so many for the road. Ordered some sandwiches and ate them in the dining area upstairs. There's a shaker of nooch alongside your usual condiments, salt, and pepper. MUST visit while in Maui.”

We went on a Thursday night when they have live music (Three to Five - great local band!) and enjoyed a few different dishes from Thai Mee Up and Havens. All was delicious, fairly priced and ready in a reasonable time. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back for sure - lots more to try!”

“This Costco food court does require a review. It was an unique seating experience. The food court is out of the Costco club. There are some hens and chicken roaming free. You do need the membership ship card while you order on the counter.

“I cried good tears this morning. I've never in my life cried because of how divine the food was. I ordered the crab cakes benedict, usually when I order crab cakes it's a hash brown with little bits of crab meat but this one is purely crab and it was so fresh like it was caught in the early hours before restaurant opened. Eggs were cooked to perfection and the hollandaise sauce was heavenly. It was love on a plate, my compliments to the chef! Service was absolutely wonderful, lovely and welcoming ladies. “I haven't visited their actual location yet but had one of their pies at Duke's Beach House in Kaanapali and found the chocolate Pono Pie at the Farmers Market in Kaanapali. So fricking good. I ate the chocolate one for breakfast this morning, went really well with my coffee? If you see these in any local shops or have the chance to visit this location, do it. You won't be disappointed!!!

I've been here many times before and there ice cream are over the top. Please do not hesitate to visit; their price is reasonable, especially the amount of ice cream in one scoop. “After United Airlines cancelled our scheduled flight home nine hours after scheduled departure we were left to our own devices to locate lodging and transportation for the night since the Maui airport essentially closes down at 11 pm and the flight cancellation occurred at 10 pm. Fortunately, my wife was able to get the last two available rooms at the Marriott Courtyard near the airport and we got one of the last two cabs at the airport to transport us. The desk personnel were extremely friendly and understanding. The rooms were large, clean and well laid out. One room complaint though- the toilets are set on very short pedestals so it is painful for older, tall people to sit on the toilet seat. There is a small snack and beverage shop adjacent to the front desk and there is a bar area (closes at 10:30 to 11 pm) which also serves as a breakfast area in the am opposite the front desk. During the day they do have a free shuttle to and from the airport. There is a pool and nice grounds though due to our circumstances we were not around to use them. Room prices are high ($580 plus per room after taxes and fees). Not sure whether that is normal price or due to our circumstances (either way we were happy to have rooms to sleep in).”

“I’ve had more hangry joes since I’ve moved out east than any other restaurant, my family and I *love* it. Biggest caveat, which is one of their strengths, is that the restaurant makes everything fresh… The spice levels have been variable at the five or six different ones I’ve been to! I only get mild, it sometimes the mild is too spicy. Then I’ll ask for “no heat” and it will be completely unseasoned…. If I could just find some consistency in their mild, I’d be good to go. LOL So far my favorite location has been crystal city around the pentagon shops. They always add ranch, and the cook is impeccable!”

“Recently visited Taco Bell and had a really enjoyable experience. The food was delicious, exceeding my expectations for fast food. I tried lots of food, and it was flavorful and well-prepared.
