Stopped by here after an early morning at Haleakala. THE BEST loco moco I’ve ever had. I wish I’d taken a photo of it. I also got a banana pancake and that was THE bomb as well. Need to get back here.
Stopped in for a late breakfast/early lunch and their Cheeseburger omelette was calling my name and was simply amazing! Great balance of beef and fresh onion with the 2 eggs and cheese. Onions were lightly grilled and had some snap in them which was perfect. The hashbrowns had a proper and perfect crisp to them- most diners seem to undercook them for me, so this was an unexpected bonus. My wife had banana pancakes and they were ridiculously good as well. Small mom and pop place the locals frequent. I stopped by for breakfast and the food wasn’t bad at all. The service was good, but the restaurant wasn’t the cleanest. Floors and walls were very dirty, and the salt and pepper shakers were older and rusted. The restaurant is cash only.
