Jack's is an old time favorite. Small family run business going back 3 generations. They are the same family that used to own and run Ma-Chan's. Home cooked style food, great size portions and affordable. They only take cash so make sure to go prepared but we'll worth it. Can't beat the traditional loco moco or roast pork. Breakfast is always delightful and so is lunch. Lunch menu and breakfast served all day. Go support this small family run business still run and owned by the family that started it all. A favorite on a day that I need breakfast food or plate lunch style grinds.

This place is the real deal! Run by a family with the Mom, dad and the two boys. Three generations working in the kitchen, full of locals. The food was so good that literally we ate it before I took too many pictures. I will say if you are not a local, you may not get served fast but, it is what it is! Don't judge them! Fried rice was amazing. Try the crazy omelette. Lots of people had Ramen soup with pancakes! Definitely a must place visit when you're in town either picking up at Costco or heading to the airport.

Small mom and pop place the locals frequent. I stopped by for breakfast and the food wasn’t bad at all. The service was good, but the restaurant wasn’t the cleanest. Floors and walls were very dirty, and the salt and pepper shakers were older and rusted. The restaurant is cash only.

Dirty! Front door was nasty and made me think twice. Opened the door which made me think thrice. Food made Grandpa so sick, may have been the rice!To make a long story short, there were a lot of locals eating here and the online reviews were great. Six of us ate here and and Grandpa and I ordered the Loco Moco. Food and service was okay but everything was dirty. Bathroom was dirtier than an auto shop bathroom. Salt and pepper shakers look like they haven't been cleaned in 10 years along with the flooring. Black ooze seeping out from the walls in the bathroom.After eating breakfast here I felt pretty bad all day and couldn't eat until the late afternoon. Grampie started throwing up about 45 minutes after leaving and is still sick with food poisoning. Maybe the locals have stomachs that can handle it....

Stopped by here after an early morning at Haleakala. THE BEST loco moco I’ve ever had. I wish I’d taken a photo of it. I also got a banana pancake and that was THE bomb as well. Need to get back here.
