We were staying at the Courtyard and saw the parking lot next to the hotel filled with food trucks. Maui Shrimp happens to be one of them. We tried the Garlic Scampi and it was good. You can taste the garlic for sure. It would be good if they serve it with a side of spicy sauce

We landed in Maui around lunch time and we were hungry! So, we ended up at the food truck park across Costco! We got the walnut honey rosemary shrimp plate. OMG! It was soooo good! I don't think I have ever had anything like this before! I would definitely get this again! So, if you are craving shrimp, I would definitely try this place!

Best garlic scampi I've had...at least up to now. You can taste the FRESHNESS of the shrimp ... N they put loads of garlic... which goes super well with the rice! Going back before we fly home!!!

MAUI Shrimp Rocks! We went to this truck 2x in our 5 days in Maui. The Sweet Mango Chili Shrmp plate is out of the world good. The staff is super humble and the tastes are awesome. Even the Fish burger and curly fries from the same truck (right side of the truck) is pretty awesome. Clean, healthy and made fresh always! Piping hot food, fresh shrimps (and they load the # shrimps on a plate), muah!

I discovered this place a few years ago, and absolutely loved their shrimp entree's. They may have changed owners, or possibly hired a new cook. I ordered the sweet chili shrimp entrée and garlic shrimp to go. when I return to the condo, I discovered that the sweet chili shrimp dish had a 1/2 inch of liquid in the box, which completely destroyed the rice. it was just mush. The garlic shrimp was so salty I couldn't even eat it . Where did they find this cook? The flavors were not correct, nor is this the same restaurant it was a year ago. So disappointing. This place was one of my favorite place to dine, but no more, as the quality control has greatly diminished with this cook.

At the airport car rental pickup, the staff recommended this food truck park to us. The good variety and interesting selections at the park immediately triggered our interests. After exploring all the menus I settled for Maui Shrimp, given the reviews of "fresh quality of shrimp" and "good value for the price". It definitely didn't disappoint!For the ~$15 price, the quality of the shrimp and the portion size were outstanding. I didn't count exactly how many shrimps they gave me, but it was a lot. It was meant to be a quick refreshment after a long flight, before a proper dinner. After i was halfway thru the box, I realized there was no need for dinner The shrimps were very fresh - tender with some crunchiness. Spicy Thai Basil, as recommended by the staff, was a great flavor to go for. I'd prefer it to be spicier, but it was certainly flavorful enough. Note: the Spicy Thai Basil flavor will leave you a garlic breath.
Only 1 word is needed! Wow!! Never knew you could get something so tasty from a food truck. First stop off the plane will always be Maui Shrimp Truck from now on. Been here 3 times in 4 days. The sweet chili mango spicy shrimp dish is crazy good. The calimari appetizer just plain works. The Spicy Thai Basil was delicious. Of all the places we ate at in the last week, only 2 are memorable. Maui Shrimp Truck and Mama's.

Was gonna go to Geste, but this place was 30 steps closer (haha) to the hotel so I decided to give it a try. Got the garlic shrimp. While it was not your typical shell-on shrimp like that of Geste or Giovanni's, the shrimp was plump and juicy, cooked to perfection. The only downside was the garlic was too raw and crunchy so I ended up pushing most of the bigger pieces aside. This is also cash only.

The food wasn't great. I had the honey walnut and rosemary shrimp and it was just way too sweet. You couldn't taste the shrimp and the rosemary was overpowering and full leaves so it was an awkward texture. It took a long time to get the food too. When I picked up my order the bottom of the container had already started to soak through. Everyone else who went with me and ordered from other food trucks had their food far sooner than I did. I wouldn't go to this particular food truck again.

The shrimp is fantastic. Spicy, full flavored and the rice is cooked to perfection, a few slices of lime to brighten things up…perfect. They always treat me very well with smiles all around. Highly recommended
