A great oceanside location. Food was good, skip the Caesar salad as it had zero flavor, but the other entrees were good. The banana pudding was hands down one of our favorite dishes we had on the island - a unique spin on a classic dessert.

While their online menu doesn’t have Gluten Free items marked, we gave them a shot because I’ve learned how to adapt at most restaurants to safely eat. When we were seated I was abundantly surprised to see many options marked GF on the menu and to have our amazing server Isaiah explain that there is even a seperate fryer for GF items. I have not had fried food in a long time and while that may seem silly to others, celiac people will understand! I had just been telling my boyfriend how badly I wanted fish and chips, and when I saw it on the menu I died!! It was so amazing and full of flavor!! I wish we had found this restaurant sooner during our time on the island, we would have ate here multiple times, but it was one of our last meals and it was worth it! Thank you Foster’s for understanding how to go above and beyond for everyone to eat safely at your establishment, we will be back whenever we visit!’

Won't be back. The gumbo was amazing and honestly if I come back that's what I'd get. The grilled fish was overcooked. Some of the worst we've had on the island. The chicken sandwich was ok but the onion straws tasted like they were microwaved as they had that stale soggy crunch. The paniolo salad was not very good as the balsamic drizzle was a balsamic flood. Service was not good. One refill in over an hour while the waitress stood at the bar. For $100 I'd find someplace else where the food is filling and well cooked.

My fav place in Kona. Fresh fish, great service and lovely view but harder to find! Look up to second level!

I was here 6 years ago and came back for the fried fish. They make it just like my dad did in southern Louisiana- cornmeal crust is perfection. Double bonus - it’s gluten free. The steak and shrimp was just okay - they seemed to have forgotten the remoulade sauce. The view is great and the service is hit or miss. I would go again just for the fried fish.Dietary restrictions: Decent gluten free options.

Sara, our server was excellent!!! She was extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable! She was coming back to our table every 5 minutes to check up on us. She did GREAT! The food was the best in Kailua Kona. It’s just the best restaurant in Kona!

A great spot with a great view. Prices are a little steep and portions are a little slim, but good taste and good staff!!

I ordered the ghost pepper chicken wings Xtra chrispy & a side of fries. The wings were burnt. The service was lousy, I had to ask for the fries, and he kept forgetting things we had asked for. The food was overpriced 60 for 2

Wonderful view of the ocean / sunset if yon can snag a table by the railings. Great service. Food prices were high for what you got: while presentation was pretty, smaller portions and just average in taste.Skip the shrimp and grits. Blackened fish was good just such a tinyyy portion.

Never got to try it. Go to Kona every few years but finally got a chance in my schedule to give it a chance but as a walk in host staff was unwelcoming. Had an expanding group and I understand wait times change but is felt snooty and as if we were unwanted from the get go. Really unwelcoming vibe from front staff.

Was recommended to try here, found the food ok, but nothing special. Wife had a blackened shrimp salad, I had Szechuan ahi stir fry.
