We visited with a party of ten. Service was great! Orders were accurate. The fish and chips were fantastic. The poke was amazing. Wasn't a fan of the fried poke balls. Well worth the visit.

We ate at Umeke's 2 years ago when they were in their old location and it was so good we went there (to the new location) for lunch directly from the airport. Our poke bowls and Kailua Pork nachos were amazing!!! We were helped by Dezarae who gave us some poke samples so we could decide which ones we wanted. Outstanding service and incredible food. Highly recommended.

Fish burger was amazing!! The bun is beautiful--perfectly smooth and browned, yet substantial and firm, unlike brioche buns. All ingredients were fresh and in perfect proportion. I believe the fish was the monchong that day. Fries were surprisingly good, too.

I had them cater my wedding and it was phenomenal. We got the fish tacos (fan fave and wish we got more) fried rice, jackfruit pulled pork, malasadas among other things. Our guests (we had a very casual wedding) all said it was the best "wedding food" they have ever had. Highly recommend for any and all dining needs. They also have a good truck with the same quality of food!

Great place for fresh poke! They have generous portions, fresh and flavorful poke, and huge sweet Kauai shrimp plate if available. Make sure to come early because their popular items sell out fast. It's a small parking lot and there's no dine in seating. They have a couple tables outside if you want to eat there.

Talk about Poke Bowl on Steroids! I mean, take a look at my photo. It a whole plate lunch plate of poké goodness. This is a must whenever I'm on the Big Island. And the "must order" for me is always the Big Boy Bowl, which is two scoops of rice, two scoops of sides and two scoops of poké. This plate can pretty much feed multiple people as it's like two regular poke bowls in one. They give names for their poké. My last visit I got "da hottie" which is their spicy ahi poke which consist of onions, green onions, hawaiian salt tossed in their spicy aioli and "da sweetie" which has furikake, onions, green onions tossed in a sweet soy glaze. Each poké has their own unique flavor that make them stand out from other poké I've tried. The sides I chose was their lomi lomi salmon and their imitation crab mayo. The restaurant itself is pretty small and there's no seating area inside. There are picnic tables adjacent to the restaurant where you can enjoy their delicious poké bowls. Parking in the area can also get packed fast as it's shared with other businesses in the area. If you're ever in the area, it's a great place to enjoy some pretty Ono poké as well as other yummy foods on their menu.

Do not miss this fantastic place! Umeke's is my favorite of favorites for fresh poke anywhere in the world. I can't go near without stopping. The menu is diverse with poke choices, fish, and other delicious choices. The side salads are as amazing as the fish with my favorite being the fiddle fern. The seafood sold in the fish market portion of the store is amazing in its freshness and quality. Poke and sides can be purchased for family meals finn the fish market as well.

I loved Umeke's! Long story short, I was stranded in Asia for a while so I have not updated with any reviews in a bit. But before that whole situation happened, I visited Hawaii. And the one thing I wanted to try most was poke there of course. The employee working there was super friendly gave out recommendations. I got the Big Boy Bowl which was huge, true to its name! I think you could share that between 2 people unless you are a really big eater. It comes with 2 poke choices, 2 side choices, and rice with furikake topping. I got the traditional Hawaiian poke, Da Avo poke, crab salad, and seaweed salad. All super delicious. The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars is because everything was a little on the salty side. I think it would have still been really flavorful if there was a touch less salt. Altogether, it is super salty. But still really good and I would definitely still recommend if you are in the area. I loved Da Avo poke. That was highly recommended by the staff. I think that was my favorite one!

Great lunch spot for poke. I'd love it if they offered more than one side (in smaller sizes) for a lunch meal. Fish was fresh, sauce tasty and the outdoor seating area pleasant.

Great poke- so many options! Easy to order and quick service. We went to their main restaurant and their smaller shop. The main site had more drink selections, but the poke was fresh and super tasty at both! Definitely try it!

We were recommended to come here from our snorkel instructors over a Sea Quest. Thank you Steve and Jen. This place was awesome. I ordered the grilled tacos with flour tortillas was good. The best item to me offered by the host. The nachos, crispy deep fried flour tortillas packed with tons of flavor. Staff was friendly, fast, place is real clean and neat decor was awesome.

If you like poke, Umeke's is in your future! Fresh options for poke and other cooked dishes as well. Friendly and prompt service. There are a small handful of picnic tables just outside the restaurant to enjoy your food. No indoor seating. Can only imagine it gets crazy warm during late spring thru fall. I ordered the shrimp bowl. It comes with five huge prawns over rice and choice of a side. I opted for the crab and broccoli salad. I didn't realize the prawns would be cooked and served whole, head and all. I'm fine with that, just wasn't expecting it. They were butterflied and grilled to perfection. The sauces had a bit of heat to it that really made the dish. A good spot for a quick bite in Kailua! Keep on Yelp'n!

Best Poke ever! Fresh and delicious. Very generous portions. My friend and I both chose something different and sat outside with a large mason jar of homemade strawberry lemonade and enjoyed every single bite!
