I ordered a Go Green smoothies. It came out as a Go Green juice. So I asked them to redo it. Second time around it became a Go Green juice with crush ice. Very disappointed. I would ask them to redo it again but I didn't want to waste my time. I don't know if the employees know how to make a smoothie correctly.

Update: I came back to try the new matcha latte and I would recommend getting sweetener in it if you don't like the taste of pure matcha but I have no problem with it! But anyways go try!

I ordered their curry chicken wrap, and I also had the same issues with having burnt, black stuff on my food even though they just opened (as stated in another review too). Even though it was cooked, the curry was refrigerator cold and the cold temp made it inedible. I was sad because was my first time here and I didn't finish my meal.

I normally like to go to MJ CAFE for their paninis or açaí bowls. Their Turkish or Med Panini's are my favorite and are usually consistently good. The açaí bowls, however, are sometimes really great, or all around terrible. What I usually look for in a great açaí bowl is the consistency of the açaí base. The first couple of açaí bowls were fantastic! The last one I got a few days ago was so soupy, and straight liquid by the time I got to my car which was 2 minutes after it was made. I will say, the staff has always been great, the paninis are always great, but I don't see myself ordering another açaí bowl ever again. Therefore, I can't say I can find a decent açaí bowl in Kaneohe.

I give this place 5 stars for food! I don't bother leaving reviews, but this place needs the love. I don't know why it has a mediocre rating overall. It's hard to find convenient, fast, healthy & fresh food that's near my neighborhood. You end up having to go alllll the way to town or the other side of the island. Why do i have to drive so far for some good fresh food? I'm so glad I came here. I miss Panera Bread on the mainland (a soup & sandwich chain) and they don't have that here on Oahu. MJ Cafe is BETTER than Panera Bread! I tried the croissant chicken sandwich with salad. Amazing flavors! Had the açaí bowl (MochaJava bowl) -- so good and ice cold. This will be my regular spot and can't wait to enjoy more treats. Better & healthy fast food and affordable.

Went there this morning for a Yaya & a turkey melt, it took 2 workers over 25mins just to make my order. My milkshake was already melted down, it was disgusting. I will not be returning or even referring anyone to this place.

I am not sure what happened with the customer service here but it really did get worse. I work at the mall so could be considered a regular. My last time there, I stood at the front to order and the African/Latino girl was sitting in the back on her phone. I waited a good minute and she still didn't look up, so I politely called out to her asking her if I could order. She rolled her eyes at me. I ordered my usual chai tea. As she was making it I noticed she was getting ice. I apologized to her and let her know I preferred it hot. At which point she argued they only did it cold. ? I was dumbfounded bc like I said I'm a regular and got hot Chai tea numerous times. I explained this, and she replied well here they only did it cold, bc Chai is normally cold, which is so not true. I asked her is it possible that the other workers just use the steamer to heat it up (which is exactly what one of the asian girls always did when I ordered it) but she flat out refused to. At least she gave me a refund, but if I ever see her I will not go in there.
