Food is always awesome but service was super slow that night. Our reservations was at 7:45pm and was seated 5 minutes after. When we checked in the hostess just said you have 15 more minutes to wait rudely. Very sassy..it was a Friday night so not sure if it was the reason why. We waited for our main food for 45 minutes. And they forgot to bring us their complementary bread and had to ask if we will get bread so they brought it after we already ate our appetizer that we ordered. Ambiance is always nice and great location.

The best meal we had on Kauai. We started with the Poke Nachos. They were great. Loved the wasabi cream. Wally's salad was very fresh and the dressing was excellent. I had the seafood special which was 3 different fish, served 3 different ways. My wife had the steak crown royal. It was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. She said that it was the best steak she had ever had in Hawaii. No room for dessert this time. Drinks were excellent as was the service.

OMG... one of the best , best food, best service, reasonable prices, lovely garden setting places on the island. So glad they do not have the hype of others nor the exorbitant $70 entree prices. A tradition for me for 50 years...... hate to give away my special locations but you wont be disappointed. Andrew's table will be a request for sure.

Mediocre food, great location, terrible service. There were four of us who dined at the restaurant. We had a 7:30 reservation and weren't seated until almost 8, and the waiter kept us waiting. It was after 9 after our entries came. The waiter was trying but admitted he forgot to put in part of our food order (twice - once for the soup once for vegan bread) and when the food did come it wasn't particularly appetizing. One member of our party clearly did not eat much of either the soup or the main course and the waiter never checked in to see if anything was wrong. The ambiance of the restaurant would be great if the weather had cooperated, but the location was wonderful. The ground of the Kauai Coast Resort are simple but elegant. Hoping that our experience was just an off night and that you have a better time.

I didn't know this place was in a hotel/ resort. I ordered the lobster and goat cheese Wontons; very good even though I could not taste any lobster it was still good. I ended up just ordering a house salad and it had pickled beets on it and a homemade dressing that was very good, I couldn't pick anything on the menu that I wanted there was not a big variety of things.
