“Situated on the 2nd floor of an old building with limited view of the ocean. The other side is open with high top tables and you overlook town/ mountains. Very beachy vibe and open air space. Music is loud even at 9am and servings are HUGE! Great spicy Bloody Mary and breakfast burrito - double the size I expected. Maybe not as unique or special food as Kountry Kitchen across the street but easy parking and no wait to be seated.“

I had the prime rib at Dukes the night before and it was meh and expensive, had the same size prime rib at Bull Shed and not only was it better tasting, it was half the price! It was our first time here and it was memorable. Wife, and friends loved their food too.“

“Yummy! This was an absolutely pleasant surprise. I found them because their Ahi Wrap was featured on Food Network's: The Best Thing I Ever Ate. Admittedly, there were issues with our order with the food taking longer than normal, so we were offered a container of poke to say sorry! The fish was so fresh and delicious. I chose the fresh catch plate (Ono) and the dipping sauces that came with it were delicious, my mouth is STILL watering! Seating is limited outdoors, but definitely still warrants a stop. Parking is plentiful in the front and back of this shopping mall.“

“The food was exceptionally delicious and the choices were varied. There were six different preparations of poke. I chose spicy ahi and green onion ahi. Stellar range of flavors. The staff were friendly and very willing to explain the differences in preparation. Highly recommended!“

“The freshest and best poké on the island! The cajun seared ahi is next level. The ahi katsu with the sauce on is Slap your mama good. Seriously, they are fishers who sell what they catch. I just wish I didn't live on the Westside. However, that hour drive is completely worth it.“

“Smiley's was our first meal on our trip to Kauai, and what a perfect place to start! We ordered the katsu chicken, beef kalbi, and garlic butter shrimp. Everything was SO delicious. Honestly, some of the best shrimp I've ever had (FYI shrimp is peel 'n eat). We also LOVED the mac salad, and think it was the best we had on the island. Order extra when you go! I wish we would have been able to return during our trip! Service was so friendly, and the woman running the front counter (the owner's daughter; sorry! I didn't get her name) suggested where we could go to enjoy our food.“

“Located at the Outrigger hotel and adjacent to Kauai Beach Villas, this restaurant is convenient and very pleasant with indoor and outdoor seating. Breakfast was delicious with poached eggs, Canadian bacon, papaya and mimosa with many other selections. Dinner offerings cover every appetite, including a daily catch-of-the-day. Food is deliciously prepared from an abundant selection. Desserts are divine. Service is gracious and delivered with a smile.“

“We had lunch at this eatery and it was reasonable, busy with local workers, and terrific. Located a little off the beaten path in a light industrial neighborhood. We had the fresh Snapper blacken sandwich and it was outstanding! The entire time we were dinging the takeout orders were streaming out the door. A true winner! Everything was fresh and tasty while being reasonably priced.“

“I enjoyed my food here (I got the fish sandwich) but the atmosphere didn't sit well with me. It is an open layout with nothing spreading the bar, kitchen, and dining room. The sound is loud and comes from all over. When little kids are in there it is even worse. I enjoyed my food but won't go back.“
