Staff were great! However, meals appeared to be thrown together very quickly. We have had better and it was a Tuesday night - not their busiest. Would still go back but it does make us start to look around for other venues.
First off, sit outside - inside is a bit cavernous and can be loud if there's live music (it's good music! Just a bit loud inside - it's piped outside so you can still hear it at a comfortable level). We started with excellent cocktails (Monkeypod Mai Tai - lovely honey-lilikoi foam, and the Ali'i Margarita - not too sweet - just right). Monkeypod Kitchen was amazing. From the hostesses to the bartenders to the servers, everyone was on their A game. We eat out a lot and service for us is the difference between good and great. The food was amazing as to be expected. But the service was friendly, approachable, knowledgeable. First class.
