“We rolled up at 8am to a small line but it went super quick and we ordered the fav five plus two. Holy smokes were they good!! The donuts look small but they are dense and super fresh tasting! The proprietor was super friendly and had a top-notch stache! 10/10 would go again!”

“A wonderful culinary experience. The entire menu is based on a fusion of Hawaiian culture. The pork belly bao buns, lavender honey crispy shrimp are out of this world. They do not fall short on great tasting entrees either. The seafood lau lau is absolutely delicious. Dinner wouldn’t be complete without exceptional drinks and dessert, which you can count on Kō serving.

We get take out from here every time we come to Maui. We got three plates of food for 2 adults and 2 boys (11 and 13) and we had enough leftover for lunch the next day.”

“Last meal in Maui last night.i had the best slow roasted beef short ribs and I smoke meats at home in Connecticut. So delicious. My common law wife had a Eggplant dish that she also loved. Service was quick and friendly. No reservation needed. Walked in at 7pm on a Friday.”

“We went to happy hour there last week. again, it did not disappoint. we had a rainbow roll, coconut shrimp, fried brussel sprouts and kulu pig nachos..... could not tell which was my favorite because they were all good. Mai Tais and Ice Tea for the DD were also pretty good. Great friendly serve, one of the more reasonably priced places we went last week. Mahalo”

“The tomahawk with peppercorn sauce on the side is my go-to and easily the best steak on the island. It's always cooked just right and packed with flavor. The brussels sprouts are a standout too they're crispy, well-seasoned, and not too saucy. I usually find the pork belly hit or miss, but this time it was spot on: fatty, crispy, and super satisfying. Tried the mushrooms side for the first time and they were fine, but not on the same level as the brussels.”

There was a good variety of options, and I liked the level of frozenness (if that's a word) the açai was so it didn't melt immediately. I went back a second time during my stay on the island because of the flavors, amount of food, cost, and extremely nice staff. So positive, friendly, and all around good vibes. I purchased the chicken burrito and corn in a cup twice. Excellent both times. This time around we added on the chicken taquitos. Also delicious. We recommend and would definitely go back.”

Shrimps didn't smell at all, so they must be pretty fresh. Eating area had a small covered area, so it was hot and windy.”

“Pizza Madness is the best pizza on Maui! Excellent crust, fresh toppings and delicious sauces, both the red and white Alfredo, a good choice with garlic chicken. They also serve up some fine buffalo wings and have a buy ten get one large free pizza deal along with other items for points. We mostly do takeout and the food is always hot and ready to go promptly. We highly recommend Pizza Madness, been going there for years and love it every time. Phil, Cris and Kyle, Kihei Maui.”

After exploring a few bakeries, we chose Maui Wedding Cakes because they seemed the most fresh, authentic, and unique. Casey was incredibly helpful in guiding us through flavor options. We selected vanilla cake with vanilla Italian buttercream frosting and whipped cream custard with lilikoi (Hawaiian passionfruit) filling. The cake was delivered to the restaurant where we had dinner after our ceremony, and it was stunning. When we took the first bite, we were amazed—it was hands down the best cake I’ve ever tasted. Casey is a true baking artist, and I'll be dreaming about that cake for years. If you're planning an event in Maui, I highly recommend Maui Wedding Cakes. You won't regret it.”

We started our day with their delicious açaí bowls and bagels for breakfast, and everything was fresh and flavorful. Later in the afternoon, we came back to try their famous shave ice, and it did not disappoint!

The shave ice was incredible we tried HAWAIIAN RAINBOW, COCONUT MUD PIE, FIRECRACKER, and KIHEI SUNSET with vibrant flavors and fun toppings, definitely worth taking the time to try.
