Reviews worried me, but not many options when waiting on a late night flight. This place was fine, we had the spicy poke nachos and Hawaiian sampler platter. Prices weren't really worse than anywhere else on the island. It was fun to try a couple native dishes that we missed! Overall decent food and happy to have somewhere to eat and wait for our flight.
After reading the reviews I dreaded going, but the food turned out to be pretty good. They seem to be turning around, and I think it's great that they include native food on the menu.The Hawaiian sampler was very tasty and fresh. We also got a cheeseburger, that was so so. But the drink was great, tasty and with a lot of fresh garnishes.Service was slow, but it was lunchtime and they were really busy. Food was ok, definitely overpriced but there weren't any other open options when we were here. My husband enjoyed the hummus but the pita looked pretty greasy to me. We would have given 2 stars but my husband was very happy that they had recently filled the Tabasco sauce at the table so they get extra credit for that.
