One of my fave things to do when I'm traveling is to check out local coffee shops. I wandered into Rainbeau Jo's in Lihue today based on their great Google reviews. However, I'm here to tell you, if I could give them 10/5 ⭐s I would. From the moment you walk in the door these folks let you know you've arrived, and they are happy to meet you. The dark window films make it hard to tell the shop is open from the street, but the place is vibrant and bustling when you walk in. We were enthusiastically greeted and given a rundown of the menu. The bagels had great chew and wonderful seasoning. The pesto cream cheese went perfect with the everything bagel and tomato. Their coffee is smooth and well rounded. Our smoothie was thick and full of fruit. We'll definitely be back!

My sister and I were recommended Rainbeau Jo’s by a local resident on our first day of our vacation. Our grave error was waiting until the last 5 days of our 12-day trip to get to Rainbeau Jo’s.
