“I am a new resident to Hawaii and have enjoyed dining at Ning’s since my arrival. Having traveled to Thailand ?? on a few occasions, I know the authentic taste of Thai food - sour, salty, sweet and spicy. Ning’s captures these qualities and more with their Bohemian flair, blending in perfectly on the main strip in old town Pahoa. Try their amazing generous proportion of “som tum” / spicy green papaya salad. Follow it up with the spicy Thai sweet basil seafood stir fry… you will then have experienced a perfect duo that can best be experienced on the streets of Bangkok. The restaurant hours are 11am to 9pm MON thru SAT. Please note, SUN hours are 5pm to 9pm. ENJOY!“
“Ariel (Cook) and Stacey (Host) are a fantastic team. I’m a regular customer and always enjoy the clean and welcoming vibes. I got the Oxtail Soup and the Beef Ribs Curry for my husband. WOW!! So ONO. Savory and the meat literally fell off the bone. Highly, recommend both dishes. A big MAHALO to Ariel and Stacey. ??Vegetarian options: Host Stacey is knowledgeable about all the dishes and can recommend a vegetarian option to the customers liking.Parking: Parking lot fronting restaurant in a mall like setting.Kid-friendliness: Spacious dining area for families, individuals and couples. Everyone can enjoy their meal in a family type of vibe setting without feeling interrupted or claustrophobic.“
“The ladies are SO friendly and the food is so fresh!! I thought the pad Thai was amazing and then I tried the pumpkin curry!!! By far the best Thai food I've ever had and that goes for everything I ordered. Both dishes I can eat as two meals and the avocado rolls are the perfect appetizer. Could not recommend more and wish I could eat this for every meal!!“
“Ming’s Thai Cuisine is one of the better Thai restaurants in the Pahoa area. Pluses are indoor seating, great service and a very cozy atmosphere. The food is top of the line. My first visit I had Pad Thai. Now I am venturing out to new dishes and so far I have tasted nothing but fantastic food. Identifying great places in Pahoa lets you not make the journey into Hilo which for dinner is a game changer since that drive into Hilo can be dangerous, especially at night.“
