No frills, take out Chinese/local food located up in Palisades in a tiny shopping mall/gas station. Always come here when visiting friends closeby. Reasonably priced and you get your moneys worth. Havent had a bad dish here yet. The chicken katsu curry here is winnahs?

Everything I ordered here tasted really good so far. I always ordered the garlic chicken eggplan and its sooooooo good! But, there was more rice than the main dish for $13+ plate. Burgers and fries, chinese chicken salad, mix plate, pork chop with gravy, mochiko chicken plate are geat, too. Lots of parking, wait time for your order is pretty quick. Phone orders have been always ready when I arrive. Staff are always nice!

Who would think a take out food service way up on the hill would have great food ? well we recently found one in Palisades ! Very convenient for us as our family lives up there too and plenty of selections to choose from, check it out even if you live elsewhere , imo it's worth the drive up there !

Super yummy foods! Omg the plate lunches are the best at least in Pearl City. I can't really imagine a better plate lunch place than this. The prices are about average for the usual plate lunch, around 13-15 USD. The food is bomb and flavorful. I ordered the bittermelon with beef plate lunch, chili Hamburger Steak plate lunch, and garlic Salmon plate lunch. Every single morsel of food was a mouth explosion of flavors. I could not stop eating out of my family members food after I finished my own haha... I highly recommend this place.

I stopped in at Palisades Drive Inn one early afternoon as I had to pick up a few things at a friends house up in Palisades. I ordered four plates: fried noodles with chicken hamburger steak garlic ahi mixed plate fried noodles with chicken - it was a little on the drier side with not much taste. It didn't look appetizing either so not sure if we got the last of it or if that's how it's supposed to always look. hamburger steak - love that the pattie's are homemade & not those frozen ones. It came with 3 pattie's, salad, rice with gravy all over. The taste wasn't too salty but the salad could have used a bit more seasoning. garlic ahi - two nice size pieces covered with garlic with a lemon wedge included. This was the best dish out of the 4 plates ordered. Fish was cooked perfectly so it wasn't dry. mixed plate - the hubby ate this plate (I didn't) and gave it a "thumbs up" so albeit I didn't get to taste anything I'm going to believe it was good since he ate it all up. He did mention that the pork chop was huge, cooked well & tasty. My apologies for not providing any pictures as I'm doing this review a week later. Also, I'm not saying I won't go back but I'll only stop by if I'm up that way again. There's lots of parking in front, place looked clean & the service was personable.

This is our second time trying this place and it is not good at all. The first time we tried it we got the Chicken Katsu and it was burned and had very little chicken in it. Second time around we got the garlic chicken and noodles and it was just oily and tasteless. We tried giving it a second chance and it was as bad as the first time. So that's a 1 from me.
