“Wait time was 5-10minutes, we were there during happy hour and got 1/2 price appetizers which were all delicious; sliders, chicken lettuce wraps, nachos, and BBQ wings. Food came out fast. The BLT didn't disappoint. Our waitress Josie was great.“
“One of my favorite places in the country. First time here was in 2006 where we unfortunately asked to leave during a small dispute between us and some Marines. Ironically we all were going to the same base so we shared an expensive cab back MCBH.Glad this place is still here and maintains the same vibe.“
“The local lawyer's call Ferguson's Irish Pub = Conference Room F.The old school wooden bar and leather padded bar stools create a comfy & cozy feeling without overwhelming the narrow room due to the spacious, cathedral high rafters.Behind the bar, the dark door wood continues as a massive cabinet and then rises up to form two pillars cradling a mirror. The cabinet proudly displays a mesmerizing kakaleidoscope of beckoning booze bottles as an Irish-looking lad, Mr. Reed, welcomes you by name with a freshly poured pint, ready-in hand.At lunchtime, Ferguson's Irish Pub reminds me of the sitcom "Cheers" except classier and without a jolly, plump man permanently perched on a corner stool (well... Ferguson's version of "Norm" isn't permanently perched on a corner bar stool but he is often found precariously perched on a Ferguson's stool).By 4:30 p.m., the downtown Honolulu business women and men from the surrounding towers of concrete have snuck out of work early and are hammering back cocktails to erase the drudgery of office work. By 5 p.m., you'll be lucky to find an empty seat as the spirited crowd shares laughs and war stories while challenging a newly introduced chum to pound down a drink involving the merger of glassware, each containing an unsettling-colored fluid. Some call Ferguson's an Irish Pub but I call Ferguson's a sanctuary for Much-Needed-?Midday-Liquid-Therapy!“
“Came out to Masil Pocha to celebrate a friend's birthday. Love that this space has high quality service and Korean food because lately I've been craving this cuisine like no other. This place also allows for guests to bring their own food to share which is a plus :)“
“The door on Young street is only propped open for air, the actual entrance is around the side by the parking lot. It's cash only, but the bartenders are all really nice about it (atm on premise). On the plus side it's one of the best places to watch a Raider's game, and if you've never been in a real local daytime dive bar, this is a good place to start. Cold domestic bottles were on special.Parking: Reasonably sized parking lot shared with other businesses“
“If you are looking for an out of the way place in busy-touristy Honolulu; this might be it! It's a hidden gem; right behind the marina that seems to be a favorite of locals. We visited this place on the suggestion of friends who had been here before on previous visits. It was packed to the gills at the bars and tables. There were plenty of "colorful" locals including a woman who asked my husband and my friend's husband "to dance" as they entered. (And there was no dancing or even a bit of room to dance!). Every bar stool was full and the bartender seemed to know them all! We got a horseshoe-shaped booth and were informed by our server, Dina, that food, especially pizza, was going to take "a while." We all ordered beers, which were brought out quickly, and food. Our server brought us a basket of chips, and later, some candied-nuts to nibble on while we waited for our food. I ordered Jeff's Favorite, which was Boar's Head Turkey and Swiss cheese and au jus dipping sauce. It came with chips and a pickle and was definitely worth the wait! Lots of turkey and yummy. My husband had the Harbor Blue Burger. He said it was also great and he really enjoyed the melted blue cheese on the burger. My friend had Jay's Favorite which was also a turkey sandwich; but it had cranberry sauce and bacon. She really enjoyed it and said it was fantastic! Honolulu is definitely full of fancy high-end dining experiences; however Harbor Pub is the perfect place if you just want a casual meal with really good food that won't break the bank!“
“This place is a diamond in the rough as I wouldn't have expected to find such a well-stocked whiskey bar attached to a bowling alley. Not only do they have a great variety of whiskeys, they also have an excellent selection of tequilas. The bartender and waitress checked on me and my buddies frequently enough that our glasses and bellies remained full but not so much that they were a nuisance. The menu contained a wide variety of delicious bar food; we had bao buns with pork, kal-bi, onion rings, and kalua pig nachos. All in all this is a great place to hang out, drink great whiskey, eat good food, and even get in a game or darts or pool.“
