“Wow. Located in food truck heaven. Coming from Texas where beef reigns supreme. This burger was the BEST EVER. I had the Double p. Cooked to perfection. Loaded with fresh toppings. I added bacon and it was thick and about four pieces. If you’re in Maui and craving a burger. This is the only place to go. Oh and the twister fries!!! Crazy good.“

“We had breakfast today, 4/10/24, at the new ownership and newly reimagined Café Mambo in Paia. The lemon ricotta pancakes with berry compote and a drizzle of sweet rosemary syrup blew the roof off. My husband’s breakfast burrito was just as spectacular. I hate posting this because I don’t want to fight crowds to get in like at Mama’s, but they really earned this shout out“

“We heard about this place from The Hawaii Vacation Guide blog. Holy smokes! It did not disappoint!! And the prices are some of the lowest we’ve seen on Maui our entire trip! Good portion sizes, too. I ordered easily online (they have pics of most of the menu items) and our order was ready in 20 minutes. The North Shore Shrimp Plate was so good I never wanted it to end. Kids loved the smash burgers! Wish I had taken more pics but if you need affordable delicious takeout food in Kihei, this is your spot!!! “Upcountry Sausage is a food truck next Mahalo Aleworks. The team was very friendly and they take great care in delivering quality food! We purchased the RagingCajun which is an Andoluie Sausage with grilled peppers, onion and bits of pineapple and more. It was delicious, served on fantastic bun. Also, we shared the Chicken Tacos, which are perfect for sharing since you get two to an order. It was grilled chicken breast meat and had, red cabbage slaw, red beans and cirn in the taco. It was really delicious and I highly recommend it.“

We went there in Friday and our burgers and fries were so good, we went back on Saturday for another, even bypassing another burger place on the way.The bun was perfectly toasty and buttery. The fries are not advertised as seasoned fries but they were so delicious, hot and crispy I didn’t even use the ketchup packets.Stew and Trina are both happy to have customers and treat everyone with respect which is evident in their food, of course, but also in their communication.I can’t recall having a better burger elsewhere, not just on Maui but the mainland included.Thank you Trina and Stew for your commitment to a great product and a splendid atmosphere.Parking: Very easy parking.“

“We were looking for a quick bite we settled on this place. And weren’t expecting much. We have been pleasantly surprised at the food and the service! Bianca went out of her way to make sure we were enjoying our food while we ate outside. Jeremy the cook did an excellent job. During our stay in Maui this has been our favorite. However, our dining experience was marred by several service and cleanliness issues. Unfortunately, we received no offer of water, and the cleanliness of our dining area was below expectations. We encountered ants at our first table, and a closer inspection revealed that the tables were not properly cleaned, with visible grime beneath the clear mats. This lack of attention to cleanliness significantly detracted from our overall experience and was the main reason for not awarding a higher rating.Family would like to grab food and leave next time.“
