“Saw this place had a huge line at Haleiwa location. Looked them up found their number and texted them to ask if they open during week days. Was told they open on Tuesday at wahiawa. Went there around 12 greeted by the owner lady with the warmest smile. Ordered two whole chicken with two sauces and a side of coleslaw. Chicken was juicy tender, coleslaw was fresh, I didn't really like the sauce but my family enjoyed it. Me and my dad each ate a whole chicken. The owner lady was super nice, she told us the only thing at that location is the plaza doesn't let people eat in the parking and she recommend us a few places we could enjoy our chicken.“

“Best shaved ice on the island, by far. So glad we discovered this place. We've tried plenty of others across multiple trips to Oahu and nothing else compares. The owners are lovely people and it was nice talking with them, but the food is where it's at.“

“I missed out on the YES event here, but I thought I'd give them a try. I DID NOT regret it. The staff was awesome, and the food was as well. Mentioned that we missed the event, and they gave us a bag that was given out at the event and an Ube Horchatta. We really enjoyed it and will definitely be back. They're located inside Palama Market in Waimalu. Parking is tight but well worth the wait.“

“New favorite restaurant. Seriously. This experience could not have been better. Right away the shrimp shack staff were kind, welcoming and friendly, it'd be hard not to be happy in such a beautiful location, right across from the beach with the breeze coming off the water. This spot has a fantastic menu, the three of us went with two plates to share but we could've downed four plates easy. Their coconut shrimp is one of the best bites of my life, served with a mango honey sauce that it SO GOOD and they're being SO CHILL about selling it, they could put up a sign or something to let people driving by know they have maybe the best sauce I've ever had. Their garlic shrimp was great as well, the Mahi Mahi with grilled onions was the other star of the day, I suggest loading up on coconut shrimp and the mango sauce, as much of the mango sauce as you can get away with, and Mahi Mahi and enjoying it all as we did at their tables by the sea. A beautiful experience. This place is a must stop.“

“I am a banana bread fiend and auntie really do be making one of the best banana breads out here!! Not super sweet and I also love the texture of the bread, the right balance between fluffy and dense. ***I got the banana coconut custard banana bread but she also provides other flavors such as walnut and chocolate chips :P**“

“After 8 years of living in Hawaii, I had the opportunity to eat it for the first time ✨Let's take my sister and her husband who came to visit from Japan around on a strict schedule from the first day they arrive! !And to Haleiwa♪Then I suddenly realized that today is Sunday! ! I remembered this and finally got a chance to eat it ?Nice?Sister couple??There were many customers around the thick smoke.I was waiting my turn. After ordering and paying, they will give you a number and ask you the approximate wait time, which will be 10 minutes.During that time, I can look around at nearby shops, so I'm grateful.I would like to eat freshly prepared hot food, but there are no chairs or tables available I found a place to sit nearby and ate.It was just a snack, so we ordered a half meal ($8.50) for the four of us.It was cut into easy-to-eat sizes and served with chopsticks ?About 1.5 slices per person....not enough! I want some more! !That was just right for us this time ?It's juicy and has a lot of flavor, I see! They say it's delicious! It's a satisfying taste ?The portion was quite modest, so if you like it, you can eat half or one chicken(?)♪“
