Its a no frills kinda of place but the people were nice and the food was good. Seemed to be take-out only, I got the two portion meal for under $12. Plenty of food I was able to eat for Lunch and Dinner.

I like Merlina's they have the best in my opinion Lechon & other dishes prices so far are very reasonable for me anyway. I love the wild bittermelon dish the make but it's not often available. You just have to try it.

One of the best Filipino food take out places. The price is fair, and the food is authentic and very good.

I am a supporter of local businesses. I try as much as I can, especially when the local business is in my hometown. I've been running errands and craving lechon all day today. One of the places I went to was Seafood City in Waipahu to get some things, but held out from getting the lechon until I got home to get it from Merlina's. I just wanted 1 pound - unchopped and the employee said that they have to chop it if it's only 1 pound. ???!!! Has anyone heard of this at ANY establishment? And nowhere was that posted. It's not like their lechon is cheaper. They tend to chop the lechon in big chunks. I like mine thin and not messy, with the skin not on the meat. That's why I like to chop it myself. If that's a hard rule, then it needs to be posted somewhere. I'm just so irritated, cuz my craving has been left to be unsatisfied. I should've gotten it at Seafood City. Not going back there ever again. If i could rate NO STARS I would. They just lost my business.

Reminds me of an actual restaurant in the Philippines. The staff is friendly and food is quality at a good price.

The lady wasn't very welcoming. This was my first time and my food was cold. The Adobo was very oily no flavor just oil and rice flavored. The banana lumpia the banana was green and not tasteful at all. The Shanghai lumpia was ok.Parking: There is enough parkingWheelchair accessibility: The space is wide enough and there is a ramp to push a wheelchair

Lexta! Ha!

The only dish I liked was the Dinuguan, I've had better though. Both their Shanghai and Vegetable Lumpias had no filling. Maybe whoever was making the Lumpias that day didn't want to, lol. The Lechon was all fat, but crispy. When I went, there were two homeless guys out front. Just walk by them, they won't bother you. I think the owner gives them breakfast. The lady that took my order was nice and helpful. If you want a quick fix on some Filipino food, go here.

Great lechon and the foods are very tasty, just as if some of my aunties are in the kitchen making food for a party.
