“CODY and the bartender WILL KNOCK YOUR SOCKS OFF! Heard about how FANTASTIC, GREAT AND MUCH BETTER THE DRINKS ARE HERE COMPARED TO THE ONES BY THE POOL. THEY WERE NOT KIDDING!Located in the Grand Wailea/Waldorf Astoria in what is a sunken bar/restaurant. Go see CODY he will definitely take care of you! He’s quick as in smart, very knowledgeable! He’s got a good rapport with the bartender and together they make awesome drinks/cocktails! They can make different coladas…Cody, suggested a mango colada and HOLY BATMAN that was phenomenal!“
“The food was really good especially the banana curry . The service was worth every penny. The manager was helping the staff , cleaning the tables and asking guests if they needed anything. 3 people serving you and making sure you like everything. Really good.“
“Fine dining level service and amazing food. The short rib appetizer is excellent. All of our entrees were perfect. This place is clearly VERY well run and I know from experience. Our cocktails were very good and the dessert we shared was great once we let the flames go out (cool presentation). This is our third trip to Maui and this is the best meal we have ever had by a mile.“
“Stopped by after a morning walk on the beach for some coffee. We had a mocha and an americano and both were excellent. It did take a decent amount of time to get them, so don’t be in a rush. The employees were very personable and friendly and I overheard them giving advice for local places to another patron.“
“The food is consistently 5 star quality, however, there seems to be a high turn around with their wait staff and . . .To be completely honest, the misunderstanding was all mine. Food and service is outstanding. They're not very overpriced and they have a very well-rounded menu.“
“Two thumbs up! Tasty mai tais, cold beer and great location. Visited twice during our stay - we were a group of 6 and they had no problem getting us seated right away both times. Service was on point. Angela, our server, was super fun and made sure we were well taken care of. Great job Monkeypod and Angela!“
“Came on my birthday to have lunch & then visit the Aquarium. The Chef's Special was perfectly cooked! Staff was super friendly & efficient & packed my Ulu pie to go so I didn't miss my "behind the scenes" tour at the aquarium. Excellent restaurant.“
“Holly and Justin were a great duo while we we were there. The food was great and timely service. Dirty Mac and cheese is what I had along with a Loco moco and Maui Mike's margaritas.Dietary restrictions: They were answered my questions about my allergie to coconut was really helpful on my decision on what to eat.“
“Best burgers on Haleakala! Now the trick is they're open when you get there. We live here have made several trips up to enjoy the wonderful burgers. Lately however we've taken visitors up the drive to bullies, and when we arrived, they're closed. Their hours are Wednesday through Sunday. We've ride during those days lunchtime, and there's no one there Please when you're open stay open WE LOVE YOUR BURGERS Would love to see you prosper as“
“The best food in Wailea. Our family has gone to every high end restaurant in Wailea and this place blows doors on them. Very chill atmosphere, incredible staff and the food was amazing. Go to this place first before you go anywhere else....Trust me“
“Our waitress at Mama’s Fish House recommended making the drive up to the ranch. She raved about the burgers and the other items on the menu. She said to try the venison for sure. The concierge at our resort also recommended the drive for burgers when going towards Haleakalā since the ranch is only about 30 minutes from the National Park. We spoke to many other locals at the various restaurants and shops that we have been to and they all said it’s a must do. Even our charter captains and crew and the kayak guides and surfers all day the same. We have made the drive up there twice in 2 weeks. In fact, the first time we ate burgers we returned for another set of burgers later that same day after a short hike- they were that good! The setting is picturesque to say the least. Beautiful views from the picnic tables. For the burgers you choose from Beef, Elk, Lamb or Venison. The Kalbi ribs are exceptional. Each time we go up we also purchase some grass fed beef steaks and some axis venison chops and tenderloins for the grill. High quality meat that grills up very nicely. The shop is very nice with some good ranch wear-Hawaii cowboy. If you want wine with your great food the Maui Wine company is across the street. For us, this is now a must do when visiting Maui. Thank you!!“
“Upcountry Sausage is a food truck next Mahalo Aleworks. The team was very friendly and they take great care in delivering quality food! We purchased the RagingCajun which is an Andoluie Sausage with grilled peppers, onion and bits of pineapple and more. It was delicious, served on fantastic bun. Also, we shared the Chicken Tacos, which are perfect for sharing since you get two to an order. It was grilled chicken breast meat and had, red cabbage slaw, red beans and cirn in the taco. It was really delicious and I highly recommend it.“
“Alex is a grill master back there whipping up this very delicious, ‘Great Balls of Fire,’ burger. Already my jewels are on fire just from eating one grilled jalapeño.Katherine is the sweetest server and very easy on the eyes.? She is like a professional sky flying milkshake maker.“
“Excellent service, our server Andrea was very attentive, never felt rushed. We were seated at a beautiful breezy spot which was a delight as we witnessed a spectacular sunset! Spago exceeded my expectation from the staff to the very delectable meal which we thought was a work of art! Everything was on point from the presentation to its taste!“
“We were looking for a great hamburger and found it here ! Cooked just like I ordered! My sister got the yummy coconut shrimp ! Our service was outstanding, wasn’t crowded last night around 7pm ; the local tap beer was yum ; definitely recommend for families but gotta wait for the seating lady bc they’re slow to greet !!“
“Don’t know about “scenic view,” as it sits right on the main road. BUT the service was personal and friendly and the food was yummy good….finally had Loco Moco for the first time…. I’m converted! Thanks, Holly and sidekick. Donna and John“
“This place is a tiny little Cafe in a strip mall, but the food is sooo good. We got omelettes with hash browns, they were huge, perfectly cooked, and diner style. Perfection. And the malasadas are made when you order them so they are hot and fresh and delicious.“
“This is my home course and our club plays there and it is a sweet time of camaraderie, golf is always great there as the views are spectacular in the course does give you a run for your money. Although this week I did pretty darn good. Net 67“
“Our server, Isaiah, was most helpful with the menu choices. We had the roasted beet salad and the Steak and Frites. We asked for the steak to be cooked medium plus, but it came out less than medium and had to be sent back to be cooked further. Other than that, it was a delicious meal in a great location.“
“Live music including hula on the evening we went. Welcoming environment with attentive service, gorgeous sunsets and views- loved that they had options (sliders, chicken fingers) for our kids so we could enjoy an early light dinner as a family.Kid-friendliness: Included a children’s menu; recommend this spot is a better fit for slightly older kids rather than super young because of atmosphere and you will be eating on beige upholstered sofas ?.“
“My wife and I got married here on the 17th. We dined here the day before our wedding and again on our last night in Maui on the 25th.Every experience we had here was exceptional. From the food to the service to the entire experience of our wedding. If you are looking for a place in Maui to get married this simply has everything. The on-site staff are incredible. Sincerely just some of the best at their job. Brian, the banquet manager is such a kind dialed in man. He was introduced to us by the site coordinator Rhondi as someone who lives to make your wedding the best day possible, and he exceeded that introduction. If you get married here you not only have the honor of getting some of the greatest scenery on the island, (go for the molokini lookout for your ceremony site, you won’t regret it) you get the honor of working with Brian.Rhondi was exceptional as well, she carved out time for us to see our site the day before our wedding and answered all of our last minute anxiety driven questions. She gave us her direct line to give to our coordinators and vendors if we needed anything, and when we did need something she was immediately available assisting us. On the rare occasions she was not immediately available she got back to us as soon as she was which was never very long. The entire staff from the bartender to Brian’s team and Rhondi’s team made us feel like we were the only thing that mattered the entire day, which we certainly didn’t expect from them but they over delivered again and again. When we went back to visit for our last dinner on Maui, Brian recognized us and came to shake our hand and give us a hug before we left.We can’t overstate how great this place is even if you are just dining, we hit up the whole east side of the island during our stay and ate at some amazing spots, Mama’s, Paia fish house, Monkey Pod, and all were great but I think that Gather had our favorite food. Our server Vinny was just amazing as well. All around every experience we had at Gather was incredible, our dream wedding couldn’t have been any better and certainly would not have been what it was without those at Gather who cared so much about our experience. Our entire guest list raves about the level of care that was provided to them as well. If you want to get Married in Maui or have an awesome scenic dinner. This spot is it.All the love - The Krigs“
“Probably our favourite meal of the trip! What a great atmosphere, service, drinks and good food! We loved the crab cakes! The specials they had were amazing as well. The price was reasonable in comparison to the other restaurants in the area. Lots of parking. Service was outstanding!Parking: Lots of options“
“The location is prime. Seating outdoors is unique with a beautiful scenic view. The staff is friendly; however, the new online ordering system lends some confusion since you need to include items that were ordered through the wait staff. Had to ask 3 times for a juice that was ordered. Despite the hiccups, it was an enjoyable meal.“
“Food is excellent. Unique to Hawaii options. Kids loved cinnamon roll French toast and pancakes. Corned beef hash with fried rice was great. Biscuits and gravy also great. Great open air patio for dining. I highly recommend Kihei Cafe for breakfast.“
“We tasted quite a number of items during our 5-day stay here at the Grand Wailea. We tried Margarita pizza, Açaí Bowl, the Buddha Bowl, Spicy Hawaiian Pizza, Korean Fried Chicken and the fresh-cut pineapple. Even though this was labeled as a cafe - the food was quite good and was always prepared fresh and the staff were also very nice. The Buddha Bowl was our favorite item; it is a vegetarian bowl with fresh vegetables, chickpeas and hummus. The Margarita pizza was our second favorite. Definitely recommend visiting this restaurant if you have a daily credit to spend as part of your Diamond status.“
“We took our kids to a Luau at the venue and so glad we did, they were mesmerized by the show the whole time. I loved the more intimate setting in comparison with other larger shows, every seat has a great view and you don’t feel crowded or trapped into a tourist activity. Dinner and the show was very well paced. We got to enjoy the sunset over the golf course while listening to the music and sipping on our cocktails prior to the showKid-friendliness: Very welcoming and accommodating to a group with small children“

“Mulligans on the Blue in Wailea offers a memorable dining experience that perfectly complements the stunning Maui sunset. From the moment you step in, the atmosphere exudes warmth and vibrancy, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening. The Sunset dinner menu delivers delicious food that tantalizes the taste buds. They have lots vegan options as well. The fish tacos stand out for their freshness and flavorful ingredients, a true highlight of the meal. Each bite transports you to the shores of Hawaii with its delightful combination of seafood and island-inspired flavors. But Mulligans on the Blue is not just about the food; it's about the entire experience. The ambiance is lively, creating a great vibe that adds to the enjoyment of the evening. And when Tempa and the Tantrum band takes the stage, the energy reaches new heights. It's more than just a restaurant; it's an experience that captures the essence of Maui's beauty and hospitality.“
“Beautiful, scenic restaurant in Wailea! We visited for our anniversary and had an amazing meal here. The restaurant is tucked back in the Hotel and offers some beautiful views of the water at sunset. The food was inventive, fun, and delicious, as well as the drinks and desserts!“
