Food was great. Service was sporadic. We requested hot water and a bowl for our baby and the waiter forgot. They also charged us $18 for boiled broccoli (for the baby) that they didn’t chop up like we asked. Atmosphere was ok. I wish they had live Hawaiian music.
We always enjoy the Canoe House experience. It's not just going out to dinner, it's about the beautiful location, dining with the sunset and stars, and deliciously-prepared food. Sad to note they have discontinued the Chef's menu. In light of this we discovered other delicious menu items. I highly recommend a visit to Canoe House.

We have to give it a 5*, Amazing food & atmosphere that was supported by great service. Extremely expensive...even for Hawaii. Try the fried rice as a shareable and the Tataki beef appetizer. Sunset views on the beach. Amazing property. If you are willing spend the equivalent of one night's lodging...it's a must dine.
