My first time here and I just found out that this Waimea location will be closing on the 31st of March. The Waikoloa location will remain open with the cook from Waimea taking over the kitchen. Fortunately the closing is not due to COVID. Word is, the Waimea location will be replaced with a Vietnamese restaurant!

Ate at Charley's twice during my last trip to the Big Island. The food is consistently good. I particularly like the curry dishes. Popular for both lunch and dinner, with Covid requirements being enforced.

Basic strip mall type restaurant. Mostly locals, not touristy Light bible too bright and was kind of hard to eat under a spot light... service was ok, woman seemed annoyed with us . We were 7 people. Everyone liked their meal. We have been here before when On island

I went this place when I received a restaurant card last month. Ordered a green curry and a pad Thai regular entree. A lady helped taking my order was friendly and helpful. Food were decent portion and prices were good compare to the Charlie's in Waikoloa. The menus and prices information are all up to date. Not the best green curry I've ever had but it was still good. Tasty pad Thai!! I will definitely go back again. They take Hawaii restaurant card.

Not recommended for humans. This could be the the island's driest, most unflavorful meal. Like hay for horses. Sauce is the most important part of Thai cuisine, however, salt is not a sauce. Please for your own safety go nextdoor and buy a banana and apple.

Support local. Great family business. Great food. I’ve spring rolls and summer rolls. All items excellent.

My favorites: Tom Yum with shrimp, sticky rice, green papaya salad, dried curry and all of their lunch specials.

Great spot in Kamuela if you crave Thai. Definitely get the spring rolls and beef or chicken satay! Pad Thai was decent too!

Charley's always is a place we love to eat! We ordered the Tom yum goong, chicken larb with sticky rice and the papaya salad! All three are my Thai staples that I need and Charley's makes it right on for my solid dining experience! Love this place and definitely recommend Charley's when in Waimea and hungry for some good grinds!

The cuisine is a blend of Thai/Hawaiian. Depending on what one's expectations are, it is like getting a sampling of each cuisine; otherwise, expect to be disappointed if you came in strictly for Thai food. One person managed the whole operation, and she ought to be complimented for her efficiency. The space is a cramped quarter. Fortunately, it wasn't fully occupied when we sat for dinner.

Food was good. Wondering if there's new owners. Highway to hell music blasting in the background.

F- The chicken pad Thai was absolutely flavorless. Dry, no peanuts, and only two quarter-sized bites of rubbery chicken. I live in the area, but will never eat here again!

They even ask if you are vegan/ vegetarian and omit the fish sauce / eggs. Thai iced tea was also awesome. ?

Yellow curry smelled like flatulence. Nearly caught pink eye dining here. Food tasted great.
