I am late in posting, I visited the big island in Dec. This market has thee freshest (caught daily) fish, delicious variety of poke and friendly staff. I can hardly wait to return. Mahalo.

We have had a lot of poke in California and on the Big Island and nothing compares. Hands down the absolute best! If you are trying to come here the old building is across the street. New poke shop is located inside the little market next to the gas station.

Incredible poke. Got the classic shoyu and it was fantastic. The staff was very nice. This place was very popular amongst the local construction workers too, which to me is a good sign.There’s a small standing counter to eat your freshly purchased poke. The restaurant is inside a convenience store, so don’t expect anything fancy. But the poke really does speak for itself. Highly recommended.
The best poke I’ve ever tried! I went to visit Hawaii and for sure I was looking for a good poke and this was the place. Nice staff, fresh poke and great portion.

They have moved across the street into the Kawahae Marketplace. The poke was okay. Not the best we have eaten. The creamier ones with Mayo - Sunrise and Wasabi are nice. The Spicy and Shoyu are too salty and not as flavorful as we expected. Much better poke was had from Foodland ~15-20 mins South.
