Delicious pies! Service quick Ambiance Great! We were driving towards Waimea looking for a good bakery and looking for interesting Antique Shops and we stumbled upon this Sandwich Isle Bread Company. We went in and found many delightful pastries, breads & desserts! I wanted to buy everything but needed to watch my sweet intake lol . I ended up buying the lilikoi meringue tart and the pecan pie. I got home to Hilo and tasted them. Wow..I should have bought 5 of each! It was exceptionally scrumptious and so delicious!!! Sadly, we live on the Island of Oahu and wish this company could ship these delicious pastries in the near future!!

Fresh baked breads, sweet desserts, fresh coffee, and a friendly and accommodating staff is what waits for you at Sandwich Isle Bread Company. Although they are only open on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, the bounty here is amazing!! You can expect to a slight wait as they limit the amount of people in the bakery at one time (5). But once you get in there I would recommend you get at least one each item. My personal favorites are the lilikoi meringue tart and the apple turnovers but they also have cakes, croissants, scones, lemon bars and host of other sweets that would make anyone drool. Not only pleasant to look at (you almost don't want to eat them) they are also as tasty.The bakery is a small space but it is an energetic place to be because the kitchen is a short distance away and you can smell and see the delights being made. I would recommend to visit but visit often. The sweet delights and staff warrant visits over and over again.Kealii

Bad for business as a employer! The owner is bad herself..not stable at all..aint hard to wash dishes..they act like its incredible hard..yet who can live off a few hrs a day?!

I ordered the Chantilly Eclair and it was just the right amount of creaminess and lightness. The blueberry cheesecake was decadent and the texture was perfect. The cashier recommended the 20 Seed Sour bread, can't wait to try it looks delicious!!
Some of the best bread I have had in a long while. We purchased the 20 seed sourdough. OMG - sooooo good. We had a loaf of the multi grain before. Another homerun. Bestest bread!! Thank you. Service is also excellent. The store is small but the vibe is very friendly and welcoming.

This bakery is awesome. They have a great variety of freshly baked breads. All sorts of pastry items. Cakes, pies, tarts...They also make a white and whole wheat pizza dough that is frozen and we break it out all the time for a quick meal.Highly Recommend

Stopped in on a whim when my besties were visiting and so glad we did! The challah was some of the best I've had in my life - perfect soft middle, nice crust and just the right amount of egg wash. The pain au chocolat and ham and cheese croissants were buttery, flaky delights. My friends loved the oatmeal raisin cookie and coconut macaroons they got. Finally, do not sleep on the macadamia nut sticky bun! Amazing! I will drive the long way to Kona side in the future just to stop by. So worth it!
