My wife and I ate here while visiting on vacation. We both had burgers and fries and they were delicious. The weather was perfect and we were able to enjoy our lunch in their outdoor dining area. The drink cups they provided for fountain drinks were on the small side, but they provided free refills. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. They even remembered my wife’s name and thanked her again for coming when she re-entered the restaurant for a drink refill. I recommend this place highly if you’re traveling through Waimea and want a good burger.

Fantastic burger spot in Waimea. You can order ahead online or by phone and customize your burger and fries. Service was fast and friendly. Burgers were the best we had on the island by far!!

Among the best burgers I have had any where. Excellent beef, cooked perfectly. The fries were also really good and enough for my husband and I to split.

After hearing about it for the last 3 days, I was finally able to get to Village Burger and try their Kona Cold Lobster Roll!!! Look at the size of those pieces of lobster!!!

I swear all the guys working here are mentally handicapped. Out of the 3 orders we had, they messed up every single one! The "forgot" to add fries to BOTH of our combos, forgot to add onions to our friends burger and then they "forgot" to add bacon to our BACON cheeseburger. Good grief! What a headache coming to eat there! How can such a simple job be so complicated for these young men?! Unbelievable. I could understand if they were really busy, but they weren't! We were the only 3 people there! OH my goodness! Poor things.

The burgers are good but don't order online because they are always out of half their menu. They are very slow, have terrible customer service and the floor is filthy!

Tried this place at the behest of my trusty guidebook and was not disappointed. The locally sourced beef was cooked perfectly and just tasted...beefier than what they serve on the mainland. Bun was soft, lettuce and tomato were just hanging out, pickles were the only off note, tasted like cucumbers. Parmesan fries were really scrumptious, the fries seemed fresh and potatoey. Price wasn't bad, not a lot of seating outside, but you bring your goodies into the nearby food court.

TERRIBLE! Burger was dry & burnt, looked like a charcoal briquette in a bun. Each of our burgers were vastly different size patties. I appreciate handmade but so obviously inconsistent in the ounces of each patty. Did I mention flavorless? At least put the basic salt & pepper. I put lots of ketchup on mine just to give it some flavor. After reading the reviews I was excited to try it & just horribly disappointed.

The burgers were delicious and you get to choose your own toppings. The fries are plenty to share between a couple (or more) people. Burgers are made to order so it did take a few minutes to get the order, but it was fresh and tasty!

We love their burgers and the bun makes all the difference. We love the fries too but todays fries either was old or not cooked enough. They are usually crispy and thinner.

It was terrible!!! No seasonings on burgers, didn't get grilled onions as ordered, fountain drinks were only Diet Pepsi and root beer. The only saving grace were the Parmesan fries.

Delicious! One of the best burgers I've ever had. Moist and juicy meat. Soft light bun. Better than In-N-Out!

Just had lunch at this amazing place. Staff are so warm and friendly, and the lobster in the lobster rolls came out of the ocean just hours ago. It was the best meal I have eaten in recent memory...burgers and shakes also perfect. Everything local. Everything from scratch. You will have to wait while they make it fresh for you-and it is 100% worth it. Go here. Seriously.

Been eating at Village Burger for years. Unfortunately, after a long break due to Covid I found the reopened restaurant to be a sad likeness of it's former self. Prices were about the same, however, the quality is gone. My burger was incredibly dry, had a strange aftertaste I later attributed to them cooking my beef burger on the uncleaned grill where lamb burgers were being prepared. The french fries which have always been my favorite thing were cooked in old, dirty oil were soggy and so salty they were barely edible. So sad because until recently the place consistently had one of the best burgers around.
