Huge portions and very fast service. I came here after a hike and was amazed at how fast and cheap it was. Food tasted amazing and they were even nice enough to take back a plate of fried rice that came out with fish cake and replaced it. I will be coming here more often!

Only way to describe it is quick, simple, cheap, and delicious. Be careful the food looks smaller than it is, but it’s worth every penny and spoon lick. I feel like I went to my Aunty house and got more than I asked for. Pretty sure there’s more than one but this one I like more. The staff create a homely experience like you eating back home and the kitchen staff are quick to get the food up. I love being able to sit back and enjoy the flavor of every ingredient in the food. Did I mention delicious Aunty food, because it is. Coming back for sure.

Impromptu biz lunch after a meeting in the area. My lunch partner is vegetarian, so noodles seemed to be the best option we could both enjoy. We both enjoyed the ramen, I gave her my veggies, and she gave me her meat. The tan tan broth wasn't very flavorful, it was slightly disappointing. The service was decent, waters were topped off and there was a check in after our ramen came out. Near the end of the meal, I asked the server (who seemed to be a ESL speaker) if they have a restroom. She said "Restroom is by Fatboys". I thanked her and finished the meal. After the meal, I headed over to Fatboys to find the restroom. It's got a gate that is locked, so I head back to the restaurant and ask for the key. Both servers looked at me like "Key?" So I ask again, "Key for the restroom?" and the server who told me where the restroom is, nods and says, "yes, it needs a key". So of course, I'm a little annoyed when I have to ask, "Can I get the key for the restroom?" I'm sure my RBF was in overdrive. And then they understood what I was asking for and handed me 2 keys, one for the gate, the other for the restroom door. Guess I got some steps in.

I've been here a couple of times, usually with my parents since it's so close to home, and I haven't been disappointed once. The combo meals here are pretty amazing and offer such a large amount of food! I definitely enjoyed the Katsu curry + ramen combo. The fried rice here is pretty good, as well. Highly recommend getting different sets and sharing them! The food service here is nothing to shout about, but I didn't once feel like we were over or under serviced, which is a difficult medium I find a lot of places meet. It's in a pretty busy area, but since a lot of the other places nearby are primarily to-go spots, you can get a spot pretty easily.

Order the gyoza first and maybe it will come out before finishing your main meal.

Food is at reasonable price, they give you a lot of food, and same yummy flavor all the time. Service is quick whether you dine in or call and pick up. My son's favorite go to dinner place.

Love the food here but their customer service is horrible. This lady with the pink hair has the worst attitude, when I asked her for tobascco she rolled her eyes and proceeded to yell over me. Never checked for refills and the whole time they were just sitting down on their phones.

My son and I love to split a combo which is far more food than one mere mortal should consume. Not the most fancy place, but very consistent amongst the various locations and great Udon.

Aloha all; this is one of the best noodle shops in this area. They have many different types of Ramen from shoyu to tofu. Try the mini specials they come with gyoza and your choice of chix katsu curry.. so ono. The staff is ok and I wouldn't expect to much from them but they take your order and move on. The parking is abundant all.day long.

Cheap and decent food. The food is ok if you are craving ramen or noodles or friend rice. It's not a fancy ramen shop or Japanese izakaya but it's convenient and the portions are generous from my experience taking out. When you are busy and want something close and fast but not fast food.

I went to Costco Waipio to do shopping and was craving noodles so I stopped by Ramen-Ya after. It was a little after 1pm so the restaurant was slow. The staff was quick to greet and got my order. I chose one of the newer items, the Tonkotsu ramen. It included some black garlic oil which gave it more flavor. The portion is generous and price is affordable. I swear I still had slices of char siu after I finished the noodles. The egg is fully cooked for those that can't have undercooked eggs. I love having seaweed and green onion because they give freshness to cut through the natural "fattiness" of ramen. Definitely will return for more ramen craving!

Got tofu ramen. Thinking it’s tofu it will be meat free. Nope! Pork inside the tofu ramen. Very porky smell. Defiantly not vegetarian ramen. Ordered over the phone and was ready in 5 minutes. Service was good though!
