This location almost always has a long drive thru wait. Last time, I preordered on the app for drive-thru pick up, as I was in the area.. I should have known better. I was in line, in time, but by the time I got to the window, 25 minutes had passed. My frappe was melted, and the whip wasn't even standing anymore. Heavily disappointing. There was also no condolences for the wait or thanks for the patience. Poor service. Outside of this occurrence, it's generally just not a great location as service is slow and drinks aren't quite as good as other locations.

I placed an ordered on a Sunday morning for pick up, knowing they are usually busy in the mornings, I showed up 20 minutes after my order was placed and walked in to about 10 people waiting on their drinks and the staff was running working hard. Unfortunately they announced they had several call ins that morning and were very behind. On top of everything their printer for food got jammed so food tickets were not printing. After about 30 minutes from when I ordered I received my drink but the people working were doing AMAZING and trying to help each other out on their stations. I’ve been to this location many times before where I have to wait 15/20 minutes and there are several baristas standing doing nothing. I tipped extra this time around, hope they were able to catch a break after that rush!

Not sure why but we literally waited in drive thru for 20+ minutes. Short staffed maybe??? But that was insane. Coming from customer service background , ya always apologize for the wait. Not just ignore em like whatever . I'll go to the Hy-Vee one instead

We were on a road trip and made a quick stop here. There is plenty of free parking and a huge food market right across from Starbucks. It’s the usual Starbucks product - so it’s good. Friendly staff too.

I’m disappointed I’m a regular customer and I get charged the same amount every time I go there. Today I was charged more then usual and they weren’t able to tell me why. Make sure the workers know what they’re doing and charge the correct amount to the customers.
Been in here for 25 minutes no sign of my drink. Workers are screaming and being loud and immature and talking to guests they know instead of helping guests who actually need their drink served. Work starbucks experience ever. Not even that busy in here just insanely loud because of the obnoxious workers. No reason I shouldn’t have had my drink within 5 minutes. Girl closest in the picture was not even actually working but behind the counter making drinks for people she knew, for free I think. Just unbelievable.

It truly is remarkable the patience these employees have. From getting yelled at, talked down to, and just disrespected from people who are convinced they need to be the number 1 priority and not have to wait at all… they hang in there and are more than accommodating. Recommend this store to anyone in the area!

This Starbucks has the nicest people I've ever met! You can tell the employees truly care and Francesca remembered my name which made it that more amazing! The drinks are made perfectly and with care and the store is as clean as could be! I'm from out of town but will make it a point to return to this specific location in the future!

This is the BEST Starbucks in Altoona!! Absolute amazing, sweet, friendly enjoyable staff!! Oh and of course the best coffee in town!! Trust me, they closed for renovations and it was the longest month EVER!! No one compares! Cuyler, Megan, Krista, Brenna & Monteanna will make your day!!
