Buffets in Ames

“It is a little pricey but the food is amazing!!! When you order online the order is correct, hot and ready by the time you want it to be!!!! The one thing that I appreciated the most is when I did the online order I didn't have to use my credit card. I was able to pay with cash or use a gift card when I got to the store. Most online ordering you have to pay with a credit card first before they even take your order. When I arrived the food was hot and ready and it was hassle-free which I appreciated!Parking: They were pretty busy but there was still lots of spots open and available.Kid-friendliness: Right when you walk into the building they have high chairs, colors and activities for the kids to keep them content why you're waiting on food to arrive. Unless you do the buffet and then they literally just take your drink order and you go straight to the buffet. Which is great in case you have impatient children lol.“

“i’ve been here twice for odyssey of the mind world’s at isu and i can definitely say that the food is great! i love the fine selection of potatoes offered in the mornings (TATER TOTS TATER TOTS TATER TOTS and home fries but whatever) but the food in general is pretty good. there is a nice variety to choose from and the menu rotates as to avoid repetition. would recommend :) anyways i want some TATER TOTS“

“Depending on the day, Seasons can be mid or really bussin. Typically not as good on the weekends because they don't open Bonsai's (the grill area). The Bonsai area is usually open on the weekdays and when it is, the food is usually heatVegetarian options: They have alot of veggies, a salad bar, grill area can be vegan friendly, and vegan alternatives too“

“There is a good variety of food available here. They had Sushi Fridays till last semester (Fall 2020), don't know about the next semesters. The desserts include cookies and different kinds of brownies or cakes which are very tasty. Love the place“

“I'll be honest: looks are deceiving. The outside looked shady as hell but the food was great and the service was AWESOME. The front counter person started us off with a big smile and warm greeting. The food was almost steamy and hot. And the "busboy" was always around to get us refills and take away our dirty dishes. Will definitely go back again!Parking: Plenty of room up front and in the lot.Kid-friendliness: Superb. All employees were friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: No issues noticed.“
