“Have you ever heard the song “I love this bar” by Toby Keith? Well no bar has truly encompassed the true epitome of that feeling until I walked into Firetrucker. The availability for me to be truly and utterly myself is infinite. The staff is caring (and forgiving ) as well as attentive and accurate. The company is TO DIE FOR as good company only attracts more good company. Call me Chantal Kreviazuk but it “Feels like Home to Me”. You will not regret coming here for a beer or two (or ten) and enjoying the wonderful vibes that is Firetrucker LLC.“

“Lots of beers from all over Iowa on a revolving stock, Always pretty ok service and just a cool overall vibe. They have stuff going on almost every night, trivia, bingo, food trucks. Great indoor and outdoor spaces. Live music , tvs playing sports and more. Come check out on of my Ankeny favorites!“

“This was one of my favorite breweries I visited while in Iowa for a work trip. It's a small tasting room space but we had plenty of place to sit on a Wednesday night visit. They're also very big into the cycling community which is awesome, if I lived in the area I'd definitely make it a stopping point on my rides! They get the full stars from me because of their awesome dark beer selection. The stout family has been increasingly challenging these days as people keep perverting their beer with s'mores and pastries and other junk in their beer. Fenders had an amazing oatmeal stout and an imperial stout that I couldn't get enough of... I even got a crowler of it to take back to Wisconsin with me it was that good! Also love that they let you bring in food, so we ordered pizza from the local joint next door.“

“Picture this; in the area for Ragbrai and a bit off-trail. Caught loitering in-front of the brewery around 11:32 on a Wednesday and the door opened to inquire if I needed water or anything (as it was a scorching day).Small conversation later and I was invited in during off-hours to sample brews while everyone inside went about prepping for the day and tomorrow morning's Ragbrai send-off festivities.The hospitality was insane! The brews were amazing! The company was fantastic! 'Iowa Nice' is an understatement.Brightside Aleworks has a fantastic location and amazing brews, definitely give them a try if you are in the area.“

“Thursday trivia would be more fun if M.C. ol’ Nick wasn’t taking the souls of those who come in last. The gathering is frequented by several mirthful deities and Nick’s trick questions have stalled the second coming on three occasions. Go big or go home a loser.“

“Cool laid back place right off the bike trail. It is absolutely perfect to grab a cold beer on your way thru. Plus it has killer beers. The staff are great and the patrons are fun too. It is definitely worth a stop whether you are on a bike or in a car.“

“Overall had a great experience here. Food was delicious and so was the drink I had.Theater and restrooms clean. Service great. There was some technical difficulties when the previews were starting. They kept us informed on what was happening and were able to get it resolved and start the movie on time.“

“Had a party Cheaper to rent than a lot of places. Taco bar was ok. No lettuce or regular sour cream. The bowling was fun. Could use more workers but did a pretty good job of keeping up.Parking: Needed more close parking spaces for the amount of business there.“
